I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi with cabbage and onions. Everyone on the north side said it was a great place and their food is always juicy and fresh. The rice was mushy. No seasoning. Just bland. No soy sauce. No hoisin. No grill action at all. The steak and shrimp was so tough. Steak wasn't tenderized or marinated like other hibachi usually comes. And had no flavor. I got egg yolk for the side. It came to be a fried hard egg on top. Not creamy. Just a cooked egg.The only thing that was good was the plain wings and ginger sauce they have. The wings had a garlicy crunchy texture. Was juicy and crunchy. not much meat. Very small but tasted good.Overall I give it a 4/10. I was excited to try. And it was disappointing. No char or grilling happened to the meat. And the rice was not fresh. Not one Asian person was in the back of that kitchen with technique. And the food tasted like a quick gimmick. Looks so good but when you get it. Whole other story. Knock off hibachi if you will. It tasted like a kid tried to make it at home because they were inspired by a YouTube video and failed miserably. ?

Any restaurant can make decent food but now a days, not anyone can give great customer service. Their food tastes phenomenal - seasoned & made with love, the customer service is amazing - the owners and staff are so friendly! & don’t get me started on their prices because they are the best in the city with large portion sizes!! I usually go to hibachi express, which is closer to me but I now go out of my way every single time to this get this place instead!
