This used to be a nice late night bite to eat and snack for me, but this last time hasn't been the greatest. I understand it gets busy with many factors involved, but I paid $18 for my food tonight and at first was only given my drink, blizzard, and one chili dog out of the bag. I asked where's the rest of my food, there was some confusion which I can understand and was cool about, but it took a sec to understand what I was talking about since I didn't get a receipt option. I got the rest of my food and got home. I look in the bag, my chili dog is put inside the bag so all the chili falls to one side and it didn't have any cheese on it. My other hot dog which was given to me by itself at first, looked like an afterthought or something someone else didn't want with a couple pieces of shredded cheese, and a bonus random piece of lettuce on top. I'm over the chili dogs at this point, and throw out half my order. I start eating my fries, and when I look at the corner of the fry box, there's random ketchup smeared and I didn't get or use any sauce. I ended up only drinking my soda and eating my half melted blizzard. If it wasn't so late and busy, I would've went back for a refund. Very upsetting experience.

Update: Don't bother complaining. They give you some bot DQ link to contact. Only way to contact is by calling. If they did all this for service, think they care about your upset phone call? Not a good system.

Please, please, please do yourself a favor and go anywhere nearby other than this Dairy Queen.

Recently, this location instituted a new closing time for its walk-up windows of 10 pm. (This policy itself is annoying as this is a walkable neighborhood and you shouldn’t need a car to get a cone.)

Worse yet, on my last visit, as there was still a line of potential customers at the window and it was approaching 10 pm, one female worker slammed both windows closed, mockingly waved goodbye before a male worker covered the window with plywood from the inside.

No announcement, no serving the customers already in line, no customer service whatsoever.

The staff at this location are routinely rude and unpleasant. They have clearly not been trained or trained the minimum. There seems to be little managerial oversight and/or the managers are equally resentful to be there.

If this is a franchise, the owner would do well do get their business in order. I will not return to this DQ and have already shared in my social circles to avoid this location.

5th ave location open til midnight. All other locations close at 10pm. So it was a nice little get away late night treat other than UDF. Plus i worked at 5th ave DQ when i was 15.

I've been here once. The toast was burnt, and there was a little gift on my chicken. A short, curly black hair. I don't want to know where it came from. No hairnets or beard nets at this location?

Service here is usually good, however yesterday they served Blizzard that would not stand the upside down test. I thought maybe it was the heat but it was even 2 minutes after. Otherwise a really Ok DQ.

This Dairy Queen reminded me of the old times ice cream place where you walked up to the window and ordered. Fast friendly service, and they also have drive through. Nice little ice cream place. Try it out.

They refused to take my gift card because their reader wasn't working. I told them I have over $40 of the gift card. They tried again and said there isn't anything on it. I called the number on the card and magically there was $42.04 on the card. Just lazy customer service. They could have called to verify the amount but that was too much work.

Can busy at times. Long drive through lines and large groups during peak time. Always a good experience. Maybe a little cheap on the hot fudge. Lol

What an insane experience. This location is a walk up and drive thru open until midnight. It's local, so I decided to walk up at 10 pm, just to see printed out signs on the windows saying they're drive thru only at 10 pm. We assume maybe it was for safety reasons, and turn around and walk home to drive instead, as we had already placed mobile orders in the app that couldn't be cancelled.

As it is most warm nights, the line is into the street. We watched many people pull into the poorly designed parking spaces to walk up just to see the signs, and then they're stuck in the parking lot for 10+ minutes until they can exit through the back alley.

We finally get to the window, and thankfully we placed mobile orders, because we were told it's cash only. How can you make customers go through this whole line just for it to be cash only?

I'm sure this experience is stressful for the employees as much as it's an annoyance for customers. There needs to be some kind of signage indicating that it's drive thru only past 10 pm and that it's cash only (this wasn't the first time I've waited in line to find this out). Making people sit in line for 20 minutes to not be able to pay for their food, or for them to get stuck in your parking lot for 10+ minutes because they didn't know it was drive thru only (you can't get into a line that's out into the street once you've parked) is chaotic.

Side note, it is so ironic that as I was typing this review, I could hear the employees laughing at the bad reviews on Google. I'd be doing the same thing! It's not their fault this place is a mess.
