The BEST Indian restaurant in Columbus! The food is delicious and there are so many vegan/vegetarian options. I've had 8 or 9 dishes so far and haven't been disappointed yet. The service is great and the food was ready quickly. Takeout is great, but you have to dine in so it's fresh. You will not be disappointed!!!

The malai kofta is so good. This restaurant knows what spicy means, so if you order extra spicy, you’re going to get REALLY spicy, unlike some places where extra spicy means they put an extra twist of pepper on it. Be warned. 🥵

My son and I enjoyed our first Indian food experience, and it was truly amazing. Entering the restaurant, unsure of what to order, we described our preferences and spice tolerance to our server. The dishes he recommended were perfect, a truly delightful meal for both of us. I attached below the meal I ordered it also came with some bread.

I got the Gobi Manchurian with with the vegetable soup it came in almost like a sweet Curry very good the Gobi Manchurian was very good perfect balance between spicy and sweet
Dakshin has delicious food that is always served fresh and hot. I enjoy everything that I order here. The atmosphere inside the restaurant could be improved but the food is great. The only concern with this past particular visit is that the waitress said she did not have change. My friend and I were both paying in cash. Thankfully my friend had enough change for the transactions to work out.
The food was excellent. I wasn’t expecting them to bring out so many dips (chutneys?). And our waitress was super nice and helpful. I definitely plan to return.

When the food gets better or worse, you know they have a new cook. I hate to slam this place, but it's a must. The food was overcooked and dry. I pitched it in the trash.
Even thought I might have had the wrong dish, it was still delicious. In addition to the amazing food, I had to opportunity to engage in well verse and intellectually stimulating conversation with down to earth people.
