I grew up near San Francisco. We used to drive the hour to get sourdough from there. We consider Boudin mid. So please understand when I say this is the best sourdough I’ve ever had in my life, the pain this causes my west coast soul. We will be happily returning to shell our $12.00 for this bread.

Great friendly people ! I came for a doordash order and it was a wait and drew was so sweet and accommodating and served me a cookie for the wait ! Very nice and friendly environment and i will be here again for myself 🫶🫶 very jice place saftey treats

This place was soooo good! We had a hard time choosing. The line was backed up out the door. It was a bit expensive, but the pastrys made up for it. I will definitely revisit when I'm in the area!
Wow!!! Sooo so good!!! After coming back from France, these are my favorite chocolate croissants in Ohio! The cardamom know was sooo good too! I especially love that everything is handmade and locally sourced ingredients!!! Amazing! The customer service was amazing as well!!! Overall, a great experience, will be coming back!!!
Nobody even comes close to what theyre doing in here. The prices are high, but the food is worth every cent. The employees appear to be well compensated, the ingredients and selection is top notch.
The quality theyre outputting is truly in a league of its own. Try as much as you possibly can. You'll be back.

Bravo, bravo, encore, encore. We live in Lancaster & decided to go to Dan the Baker for a treat. My goodness, this was one of the best things I have ever done. First off, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Second, everything looked so good, it was hard to choose. We got a little bit of everything. Our fav was the egg / bacon danish. My husband said this was one of the best bites of his life. The loaf of sourdough we bought is unreal. I loved the cardamom knot. This is a must do. Can’t wait to go back.
Great Italian sandwich, very limited seating. Will be back to try the cinnamon rolls and other breakfast goods.

Bacon and egg croissant was delicious—very flavorful filling and croissant was light, crispy, and buttery. A very special treat and worth the stop in from out of town! Country Sour bread smells wonderful. Would stop here again!

Came here on whim during my lunch break and am so pleasantly surprised! It’s on the pricey side for a sandwich but there’s no denying my BLAT is absolutely delicious and big!! I also got an iced matcha latte in a little cup and a loaf of freshly baked bread. Will be coming back here when I feel like treating myself! Everyone was so polite and pleasant.
