I love everything about this little place. A nice little in shop deli style set up, nice clean booths and tables, great service, qnd great quality offerings for the price. Very family/children friendly place as well, my 5 year old son loves their burgers, thats if he has any room left after chowing down on their generous portion of fresh fries. Its hard for me to pick a favorite, almost any Deli sandwich. I'm a deli style guy. I've worked in some of the best settings as well as been a patron. You aren't doing yourselves any favors if you pass this place up if its qn option, or if you are close. One of the only places in town that even makes egg salad, also makes it the way that I prefer.

Reuben was really good today. Definitely better than last time. $17
Also, really like their breakfast burrito or wrap. $9

My Reuben sandwich was a little dry today, not as fresh as it usually is still a great place for lunch!

I wrote before and still not the charm.
I crave a good Hot Corned Beef sandwich often and I will drive to Cleveland to get one because this is not it.
I am from Cleveland and I know Danny’s Deli. When they opened in Columbus it was with the original family. Since becoming Danny’s Delicious not even close. The meat is too thick and so dry. The bread was like both ends - was I supposed to think my sandwich was bigger.
As for the atmosphere- clean your door glass and the glass display. A mop to the entry floor would be welcomed
Can’t say that I will try this location again.

I ordered the D's Delicious Club. The sandwich looks delicious with plenty of meat in the menu, but my sandwich was small with a couple pieces of ham and turkey and my toast was burned on the inside so I didn't see it until I bit into my sandwich..smh. I blame the cook because he served it to me like that. Damn shame though because that was my lunch and I didn't have any choice but to eat what I could of the sandwich. The service wasn't bad but the food was.

Holy crap! I was told about this place having some relation to Slymans out of Cleveland. I absolutely love Slymans, so I was thrilled at the possibility of having something similar here in Columbus. I went down for lunch today. I ordered a corned beef sandwich and it was by far and wide the most disappointing corned beef I have ever had. It was nearly the same color as the rye bread it came on. Very little flavor. Their thousand island was passable. Fries were soggy and tasteless.

I am not sure if something changed recently, but this is not a spot I will be going to again. I rarely write reviews, but my expectations were so high, and this place so disappointing.

$21 for a small sandwich, fries, and a Dr. Pepper (with not nearly enough syrup).

What a great hidden gem! I grabbed some breakfast here, food was made super quick, great Veggie breakfast wrap, the home fries were not as pictured like squares, but were more like potato slivers, an interesting surprise. Pickle was on point.

I want to start by saying this can’t be the same owner or management. The corn beef is not the same, it is not giving Cleveland Slymans anymore. My sandwich was made incorrectly, And the corn beef taste like it’s boiled with no seasoning. There was no flavor. If I wasn’t on my lunch break I would’ve taken it back. Second the fries taste like they are fried in an air fryer. I’m so disappointed I will never go back.

I lived in Columbus for almost 50 years and Danny's Deli was a staple. We told everyone how wonderful the food was. A few years ago the owner sold the deli to a relative and it went downhill from there. I've never had anything else but the corned beef sandwich. It had almost no flavor, had chewy fat veins and it didn't appear to be cut/shaved properly. Needless to say my daughter and I are very disappointed.

Paid $11 for half of a pita bread with 1 scoop of chicken salad. Not even remotely worth it.

A nice hole in the wall type restaurant. Decent food for lunch in the downtown area.
