The atmosphere is very nice as was our server, she even loaned us her readers because we had forgotten ours. We had a filet steak dinner and a half roasted chicken dinner, we split a salad that was overpowered with a very intense vinegar. Our food was okay, but nothing spectacular, our vegetables weren’t hot when they were served. We ordered two house Cabernets and the charge was $57 for two 9 ounce glasses. We later found out the wine was “Intrinsic” which you can purchase for less than $20 a bottle at Walmart. Our meal and two glasses of wine came to $175. Ridiculously overpriced. We won’t be recommending dining at Del Mar.

My husband and I had been waiting to try out this restaurant for a date night, and to celebrate his birthday early, as he has an early December bday and it’s too crazy at that time. I had read lots of reviews, and we had a wonderful experience, like most other people apparently! Hope was our amazing server, and had great suggestions and was very attentive and welcoming. We started with the feta and roasted red pepper dips with pita bread-so yummy! Our mains were the ribeye and lobster spaghetti, so we shared and made our own surf and turf:) Honestly, everything sounded delicious so it was hard to decide, but we loved what we got. My husband’s steak was cooked to perfection, and I loved the red sauce with the lobster, surprisingly it did not overpower it. We also got the baklava dessert which was fantastic! And our server, Hope, made it perfect, she was constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, refilling drinks, but somehow doing it in an unobtrusive manner! What a great experience, would highly recommend this place👍

My fiancé and I came here for our last date before our wedding… we had the best time and our waitress was the absolute BEST! Taisha was absolutely amazing and she made sure it was memorable. Overall, great food and vibes!

It really deserves much more than 5 stars, the waitress Kamryn F was a total success. Super friendly, kind, cute. And the food was delicious, I ordered a salmon and a super delicious mojito, everything and let's talk about the dessert, the most delicious thing I tried, they took a very nice gesture in saying Happy Birthday, I loved it!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I would come back a thousand times

First time review, second time eater. Let me start out by saying that I grew up on Cameron Mitchell restaurants, so I want to see them win every time. Wasn't too impressed the first time with the food but decided to come back and try out the bar area with the glass ceiling. Right off the bat, the low vibrational energy the bartender was giving me was unexpected. The decorum was top notch but, her introductory RBF threw me off. Like, honey, smile! Present warmly. Do you *know* you work in hospitality?? Eek. My companion and I briefly noted it but continued on with ordering what was a really lovely meal. She had the beef, I had the smoked seafood platter which was divine. Likely the largest shrimp I've eaten all year charred to perfection. The broth, literally drinkable, luxurious even. Drinks, a great selection. Ambiance, overall, really inviting. I'll be back.

Del Mar, big name, beautiful location terrible food, terrible server, she did nothing, at the end pretended to be nice. While making payments this server never gave me a personal space. She tood behind my shoulder to see how much tips I will give her. Will never go there again!!

We had a nice night out, the hostess was nice and chatty and our server was glamed up and nice, very knowledgeable. I had the filet which is honestly SO tender, so easy to eat the meat and the potatoes were nice and crispy, the broccoli was nothing crazy haha. The lobster 🦞 spaghetti was very well presented but was not warm enough and needed a little something to be more delicious, I guess I’m not a lobster fan!!! I also disliked the blueberry tart, it was too much cream and cheese flavor hehe but it seemed fresh and good for someone with a taste for richness and milk. Anyway, good atmosphere and staff. 🤗🥩🥦🦞

Don't get swayed by the decor and the sham! The food and the service are average like any other regular dine ins...not saying it's bad, but it's pretty avg! (I'd compare it to cheesecake factory/condado/mr.sushi/brassica etc.) Seemed overpriced for its quality and services. I'd rather go to places like vincent Williams or The bistro @ gervasi if I have to spend $100 per person.

Everything was amazing. The food was delicious. My husband had the steak and I had the scallops.
The only thing that was a bit of a surprise was the cost of the old fashions. We had 2 with Woodford reserve. Total with tip was over 50.00. They charges us 7.00 for a cube of ice and 23.00 a drink with 7.00 charge for the old fashion.

The food was somewhat underwhelming, especially considering the price point. It didn't feel like the quality matched what we were paying for. There are plenty of other dining options in Columbus that offer better value for the same price range

Let me start by saying I LOVE Cameron Mitchell restaurants, however his lastest at Del Mar at Easton is a miss and not a hit. Over priced and lacking in originality. Very small portions and the typical menu, nothing special. Better value and menu can be found elsewhere in Columbus. $185.00 for two with no appetizer or extras. This is not about affordability it's more about value.

Beautiful place; however a friend and I recently dined there and although I NEVER do this had to send my food back. We both ordered the filet and it came out tasting like pure salt and wasn’t eatable. We both ordered the same thing, she sent hers back as well. Although the staff and manager were friendly, they didn’t handle the situation with the best customer service.
