1st time at Dewey's. Wife and I had a half and half , she got veggie I had the Bronx, basically all my favorites. The Crust was what stood out. Best anywhere, light, not heavy, lightly browned yet soft enough for me to enjoy all the crust. The sauce had a slight kick but was not painfully spicy, toppings were just right. Our medium pie did not break the bank either. Waitress explained everything as we were 1st timers. 5 stars not enough!
Good enough tasting food but the Stromboli/calzone was grossly underfilled. I ordered the three (maximum) toppings/fillings and received them scattered throughout it, never did a single bite have more than one of the three choices. Not enough fillings to call it a proper Stromboli. Disappointing for the price.
Love the food, but be warned that their pickup estimates for takeout is always way off. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve had to sit in their lobby for 10+ minutes despite arriving after their estimated pick up time.
