I have been a Ding Ho customer for 50+ years. My parents took my siblings and I, yes all 7 every New Years Eve. The food was excellent then and it's still excellent! The best egg rolls I have ever had. I haven't had anything on the menu that wasn't good!

Gonna be honest, the food was barely passable. I just ordered some takeout on a Monday night. We got sesame chicken and general tsos chicken with some rice. All parts of the order were kinda luke warm, didn’t feel freshly made despite only calling to order about 20-30 minutes prior tops. The sesame chicken was decent at best, but the general tsos had a weirdness too and didn’t taste good. The kind that makes you think “I might get food poisoning from this…”. So after one bite we threw it out. Could have just been a bad random chance but sadly I won’t be trying them again.

Enjoyed my experience. Service was great. Everything was good, especially the egg roll. Has an old school feel. I would definitely recommend trying.

After my surgery today I wanted soup so the closest and best place I thought would have been here .. wrong I was ... I really enjoy their naked wings, however I ordered a large in tin soup .... all of my won tons where flat and nothing inside of them just the dumpling dough .. I have never had a meatless wonton dumpling in my soup, that's the best part of the won ton for me .. ugh

40+ years coming to DingHo. This is more than a place to eat. It is family. Everything is SO good.

The wonton soup is a must. The sweet and sour chicken was superb, too. The restaurant felt very clean to me, and our waitress was very kind. She checked on me a couple of times while I waited for my friend to arrive which was an added bonus. I went around 2 o'clock on Saturday, so the service was very quick. My friend an I also got some of their egg rolls and you can tell they are homemade. They were pretty big. I recommend going during odd hours- makes it easier to get in and get out (the parking lot doesn't have a traffic light one can depend on if you need to make a left turn out of there). I did spend about $25 including tip, but there are lunch specials available to make the price cheaper.

This is like an amazing step back in time. The wonton soup is excellent, as was the egg roll and the szechuan chicken. It's one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. There's a reason they've been around for so long.

We really love this place. We have never been dissatisfied with our food or the service. We’ve been going to Ding Ho (old and new location) for over 30 years.

2nd best egg roll ever! Fried rice was 'good' but 'delicious' day 2.

Ordered online for the office. Service was good and the place looked nice, but both the quantity and quality were lower than our usual spot. The truly unforgivable thing is the fried rice tasted unmistakably like cigarette smoke. I don't know how they managed to accomplish that, but at least 5 people at the office confirmed that was the taste.

Truly cannot recommend. I don't like leaving poor reviews, but what a shame.

Very much an American style Chinese place (we lived in Shanghai for three years and go back every year). The hot and sour soup was good. Pot stickers were nice. But all three of our main dishes- beef, shrimp, and the Singapore noodles, were all just so-so. Not very flavorful, not bad, but not worth coming back for. Staff was friendly, but not Chinese, interior was open and roomy, didn’t feel crowded at all, so that was nice.

Sunday brunch here was very good - good portion sizes, great wait staff, and comfortable seating within a "standard 'Chinese/Cantonese'" themed restaurant. You can choose from seating in the main dining room, seating in the bar area (TVs tuned to sports - since it was a rare Sunday with few regular sports on, it was ESPN Ocho) Lunch was really good. The egg roll I had was hot and crispy - had to break it open to let it cool down a bit. The wife's beef and broccoli was perfectly made with just the right amount of rice. My kung pao chicken was good, but had to add a little hot mustard to it to make it "zippy" enough. All-in-all, $25 for a good meal was very affordable.

We sought this place out due to their claim to be the old Chinese restaurant in Columbus. Expecting excellent food to be in business so long we ended up less than impressed and probably a little disappointed to be honest. At best it is no better than your average neighborhood restaurant . I would not go out of my way to eat here as we did. Out of 5 of us, no one was overly impressed with the food.
