Don Tequila Mexican Grill and Cantina North Side

I must say it’s the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food is well seasoned and delicious. The meal portions are large too. The only issue at this location is to have a server that speaks English if you don’t speak Spanish. You’ll have to deal with the Spanish translation on your phone and not able to communicate. The music and salsa live band at night is fun to watch and enjoy with a partner or friends and family .

Pretty good food. The molcajete is really good. And the beer is really cold. The girl waiting on us seemed too shy to talk to people and we could not hear what she was saying or asking. We had to keep having her repeat things. Very clean place although the music was a little loud preventing conversation without repeating what you say or talking loud. A little expensive due to the show of the food and drinks but we will most likely return when in the area.

Came here for date night. The Food was fresh, hot and good. Mango margarita was soo good. Live band and entertainment. Gotta check them out and u wont be disappointed. Forgot to take a pick of the food lol which we had the fajita burrito with beef and shrimp.

1st time going we had an amazing time food was AMAZING ‼️ we celebrated my brothers bday, the gave us a nice show and free tequila shots for all adults at the table, the kids received virgin daiquiri shots. Highly recommended go check them out!!

Twenty five of us at one table. Great service,food, it was a great time for all of us.

Poor service; over-priced, low quality food. Smells like bathroom cleaner.

Feb 17 2025 Edit: Came in for lunch and was a bit disappointed with service and food quality. Unlike before, the service was slow, person didn't fully understand the order and brought what he thought I ordered. Food quality too wasn't great today.

The worst experience you will have is if you go to this restaurant. I waited 2 hours for my food and never received it and the waiter tried to apologize to us with a round of terrible drinks.😡

Loud music that is extremely annoying and makes it impossible to talk. I used to really like this place but will never come here again.

This was a very fun mexican food experience. Authentic cuisine with Spanish karaoke 🎤. The margaritas 🍹 topped with elaborate fruit decorations and lit up at that. On top of it all, flaming tequila flights on a plane. This was quite the experience. I will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch (first time there). We each ordered a pop and three tacos each. So two pops and six tacos total and our bill was just over $41 which to us didn’t seem right. During our meal the female server never once checked in to ask us if we needed refills or more chips and salsa. This was a Thursday afternoon around 3:00pm and they were not busy. Then we paid with cash using $60 (3 $20 bills) for the $41 bill. The female server also did not speak English and evidently didn’t understand when we asked for our change and assumed that she was getting a $19 tip on the already high bill for what we ordered. Not going back there.

Uber friendly. Food smells good I will try it out.
