Food is good but it takes so long for it takes be ready despite ordering in advance! The food is overly priced ! The prices are ridiculous for the State of Ohio.

Will never order or get food from here as dasher this place is a natural no no no the wait time is stupid and the ppl if u are not there ppl are rude and don't communicate so never again will tell them never go there if asked thumbs down 10

Even tho I ordered take out, I enjoyed the whole vibe of Drelyse, I will be ordered again! I had the peanut butter soup with beef and fufu

The place is relatively small in size as compared to other restaurants, I ordered online, only to be told my order was not received, it took about an hour and a half for my orders to be ready, the lady is nice, the food is really good.

These people are seriously awesome! Everything from the food to the service was fantastic! New flavors and kind souls, what more can a guy ask for? I only wish I lived closer to this place bc I would visit very very regularly! The flavor peofiles are so amazing! Everyone here was a hard worker! Keep up the great work!

Banku and Tilapia is overpriced. And the guy was rude on the phone. Not good customer service. I liked the food though.

Update as of 7/27/25:
I’ve ordered from this place several times and even dined in once before. Most recently, I returned with my family for a birthday dinner and unfortunately had another disappointing experience. We were greeted with the kind of indifferent service that has sadly become all too common. Upon arrival, we weren’t welcomed properly, and while being seated, we were asked if we were dining in—followed by a comment that they’d be closing soon.

The owner, who appears quite self-important, was openly scolding a young staff member while simultaneously serving food. Shortly after, we were told to place our order quickly so they could close up by 7 PM—on a Sunday evening, no less.

Once again, I’m left disappointed by the overall service and environment. I will not be returning. Given the owner’s attitude—telling another customer not to come back if he was going to be “demanding”—I’m sure they won’t miss my business either.

Despite being excited to try Drelyse from its reviews, I had an all-around negative experience.

When I entered the restaurant for lunch, the dining room was probably 85 degrees. After ordering, I waited for 1 hour and ultimately had to leave with my order to-go. My order was wrung up incorrectly, the majority of the goat stew was bone, and my boiled egg was so overcooked that the yolk was fully grey (not just the edges.) For nearly $30, I expected far more. The rice & beans were fine, I suppose.

Perhaps I showed up on an “off” day, but nothing about my experience was positive.

I just had a really bad experience. I don't know if it was the day or if this is normal and people just are okay with cold dry food or the reviews are by non africans but, To keep this objective I will simply state facts. I ordered grilled tilapia, waychke(beans and rice) and plantain. My total $43. When i called, i asked for no added sugar. Immediately in the background, someone was shouting and i could hear over the phone. I immediately said perhaps i should cancel because im not loving the vibe. The guy on the phone taking the order just said to be understanding because people communicate differently so i kept my order
exactly an hour from the time I hung up the phone, I arrived to pick up my food. The tilapia was dry and lukewarm. The plantains were the same. And so was rice and beans. I immediately called and said I waited a whole hour for this food never got a phone call that it was ready and everything is cold so he said to bring it back and he would warm it for me and I said absolutely not I want fresh food or a refund. I get there she started arguing! I was HORRIFIED that she really told me after charging $43 for rice and beans to warm the food! Who buys $43 worth of food for one meal... (BEANS and RICE at that) just to microwave it like leftovers? Anyway, that was my experience at this place. I hope she uses this as an opportunity for growth but, from the interaction with the owner and her unwillingness to even check the food i returnedr, she is unwilling to accept wrong doing. We AFRICANS like HOT food not microwaved food. Espaecially when we wait a whole hour for the food and are hungry and anticipating. WE Africans are your biggest customer base!
