Dueling Axes - New Albany | Axe Throwing Bar

Me & girls went here as our monthly outing together and had a great time! We all enjoyed throwing the axes, while having some drinks and of course girls talk. We even learned the Boots on the ground line dance thanks to Dee who worked there. I would 100% recommend!

Check your cards after! Was charged for drinks I didn’t order. This was _after I was approached to run my card again after something “messed up” according to Lizzy the server

My bill seemed outrageous, $106 for 6 shots and a bucket of beer. I look it back over and realize I’ve been charged for 2 shots I didn’t order nor did anyone else, a $20 difference when I was finally comped for those after a cringe back and forth with the server, who seemed to realize her mistake but doubled down. After that happened, I had no interest in tipping so I didn’t and took both receipts with me (all while being video recorded by said server) and I’m glad I did because after the first charge posted to my account for $86, I woke up today (4 days later) to another pending charge for $86. Bank is taking care of it and I’m only leaving this review because the place is shady. Beware!

Dueling Axes made for an awesome double date night! It was our first time throwing axes and knives but John gave us a great intro and coached us girls through it! He was hilarious and so approachable, willing to give more tips when I was struggling miserably LOL. We loved the variety of games, including a cornhole-style scoring game (1st to 21 or 51). The bar is very nice, and they serve an excellent peach mint mule- great work, Dan. We will definitely be going back!

Amazing time. Grant showed us everything we needed and checked on our progress throughout our time there. Absolutely would recommend for anyone waning to try something new and have a good time.
