The food is incredible, but there are no prices on the menu. I used to come here a lot and have been here many times before. I brought some friends and we were charged one price. I came back the next week and the price almost doubled. I guess we should’ve asked because there are no prices on the menu. When you go to the website, they’re different prices on the menu than what we were charged.Very inconsistent with pricing and way overcharged.

Used to be an affordable place to eat good food. Now WAY too expensive!
got some food for dinner tonight and we ordered 8 ppls worth of food and received less than half that amount of meat. The dish was filled with vegetables instead, definitely did not feed my family. The portions used to be good but it was just awful tonight- not to mention the meat tasted dry, chewy, and like it had been sitting since the morning. We paid $$$ for $ amount of food

The food was super delicious and the staff was very welcoming. I came all the way from Maryland and everything was good.

I grew up partially in East Africa and love good East African food. This is not that. It was possibly the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The goat was utterly tasteless, no spices or flavor of ANY kind. Full of fat, still on the vertebrae bones. They even botched chicken curry and chapatis. The curry had more cumin than you can possibly imagine. I mean imagine you take a full cup of cumin, add half a cup of water, and call that sauce. The chapatis were by far the worst I’ve ever had. Old, cold, doughy, and with little or no oil. It tasted like eating damp, congealed wet dough. Also water isn’t free, no AC and boiling hot inside, flies everywhere, including on the food. Actual African restaurants are tastier, cheaper, cleaner, and more comfortable. It was a struggle to even leave a tip.

Loved the ambiance and food. Wasn’t an issue for me, but there’s no AC (at least when I was there) so keep in mind what you wear

Haven’t had in a couple years but wanted it today. It was delicious. Nice hot and fresh! One of my favorites. Even got complimentary soup while I waited for my order.
