El Barco Mexican Restaurant

We went to the 161 location on a Friday night at 5pm nobody was in the restaurant,that’s usually a bad sign. It was Food was served cold and was not fresh. Our servers never even checked on us after the brought to food back from the kitchen for the 2nd time.. won’t be going back.. this would be a good place to open up a restaurant..

Me pareció pésimo el cobro, hice un consumo de 400.00 y me hicieron pagar una gratificación de 60.00 dólares diciendo que ya estaba computarizado el porcentaje de la propina y que eso es porque cosumi más de 250, obvio que dejaríamos propina pero que me pongas el monto me pareció un robo, NO VOLVEREMOS..

Food was okay. Margarita was ok. Won’t return. This is my second time eating here. Just very underwhelming and not even as good as the most basic Mexican restaurant. Salsa is brown. Smells like fish when you walk in. They do have a lot of fish on the menu!

Staff is friendly.

Parking: Plenty of spots. Not the best area. Was approached in the parking lot but ignored and locked doors.

Kid-friendliness: They don’t have milk or chicken nuggets. Cheese quesadilla and fries are your best bet for toddler meal.

The food was great. Service was good. Music was so loud my waitress could barely hear me, had to yell to order food. You had to yell across the table to talk to people. We asked twice if they could turn it down. Then, never did.

I have repeatedly kept giving this place chances only to be continually disappointed and tonight was the last straw.
The service was bad, the fajitas were undercooked like nearly raw veggies or severely burnt.
$12 for a single chile Relleno that was cold, was givin two tortillas for fajitas then charged $2 for more.
This one shrimp dish the sauce was literally ketchup and Worcestershire sauce with what I’m assuming seafood bouillon? It was hard to nail it down but wasn’t great also for $23.00 you’d expect more than 4 shrimp.

The upside the food came out reasonably fast
The plate of sides with fajitas were literally the best part of the meal though the entree severely lacked for the price.

Downside they gave everyone else chips and salsa but us and the table was dirty and sticky.

The waitress continually passed us and took forever to get anything from them including wrong drinks twice.

Not happy I’m never going back.

Second time I return to this restaurant, very slow service, food is served cold, place in general not very clean, they charge you the commission that they charge them if you pay by card, high prices for the quality of the food

Very bad attention

While the food at El Barco is alright, I've consistently had mixed experiences with the service. I've dined at other Hispanic restaurants and haven't felt the same inconsistencies. I hope that these issues can be addressed to improve future visits.

Today I placed a takeout order for me and my partner. I asked my partner to pick them up. When he returned with the food, the food was cold and my partner's dish was the ugliest since the seafood had an ugly smell and the The taste was terrible, we went to make a complaint and they told us that everything was fine but it wasn't, the food was definitely reheated, it wasn't fresh food, we always eat here 😢 but this last two times it has been an ugly and unpleasant experience, definitely I don't recommend them 😐😐

My husband and I both ordered fajita, I got mine and he didn’t get his, my rice was dry crusty, the chorizo was litterly hamburger with taco seasoning!!! Daughter asked for chicken tacos with queso, she got shredded cheese! Asked for plastic silverware never received it! Not somewhere I will probably go back, the whole crew was sitting as you walk in with their ass up in the air and hee hee haa haaing!

For our first time ordering and ordering for take out, the food was hot and our order was correct and it’s super close to our house now. The prices are great for the amount of food you get and the food was fantastic. We will be back again!

I went on a weekday so it wasn't busy at all. Food was great though. Would definitely recommend.

The food is NOT as tasty as before, now it is tasteless and tastes of nothing.

There is no attention
Terrible service

They take so long to serve you
The waitresses are rude
And the food is very low quality.
