This is a delicious hole-in-the wall type place connected to a Mexican grocery store. I ordered 3 sopes (chicken, pork, and asada) and a large horchata and loved all of it. My friend got a chicken quesadilla and she loved that as well. I lived in East LA for a few years from 2010-2012 and have had a difficult time finding any Mexican food that quite hit the same as what I had here. This is exactly what I had been looking for flavor wise. I don't know what the difference is...

This place was hidden for me for all these times. Looks like a grocery store but it’s a restaurant attached to it. Went out for lunch and found out to be outstanding. The ambience is kind of crowded, people busy taking out, eating, taking order and cooking. It took few minutes for my order to be taken- another 15 minutes to prepare and I consumed it to entirety in next 20 minutes.Food was top quality, delicious and seemed authentic. This place is amazing but it looks to be boarded up now. The boards prob block a lot of light and I imagine that messes with the atmosphere. I’d take away a star for that but the foods 6 stars good.
