I placed an order on their online website for pickup while already at the location. After waiting 45 minutes, I got a text saying my order was ready. I went to the pickup window, gave them my name and order details, and was told it was “coming right up.” After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I checked again only to be told they didn’t actually have my order even though I had already paid for it through their online system. Their only “solution” was to tell me to reorder and wait in line for my food again. By that point, everyone in my group had already finished eating, and I wasn’t going to continue to inconvenience them. There was no offer of a refund, no attempt to expedite my order, and not even a courtesy gesture like offering a coffee while I waited. To them, the problem simply didn’t exist despite the fact that they had already charged me. This is unacceptable customer service. If this is how they choose to treat paying customers, I won’t be returning.
Great little coffee shop. Large selection of delicious savoury and sweet foods. Also have some delicious looking ice creams available by the pint.

We absolutely love Emmett's. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is clean and inviting and they have a lot of outdoor seating which is so great. Whether you're getting just a black coffee, a specialty drink, or a tea, you're going to enjoy what they are serving up. The breakfast menu is small, but oh so delicious. I think they have one of my all time favorite breakfast burritos, it's absolutely gigantic! Never had a bad experience here.

I came here after seeing reviews that mentioned it’s dog friendly, but unfortunately, I was told dogs are not allowed and they asked me to do an online pickup order instead. Just wanted to flag this for other pet owners looking for places to bring their dogs. I didn’t get to try the food, so this review is solely based on the lack of pet accessibility. Hope the listing or reviews can be updated to reflect this accurately. I did see a lot of reviews that said this place is dog friendly but it's not 🚫
This was my first visit for a working lunch. We ate on the patio. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had a great little breakfast sandwich. They don't accept the US dollar which is annoying. A traveling friend had to pay me to get them food after exchanging their money at the airport lol

Besides oatmeal, One vegan option: avocado toast. The toast is very good but half of the time its missing one of its toppings, which is a bummer for a $13 single piece of toast.

Just past downtown Columbus, South High Street divides the Brewery district from German Village like the T-bone of a porterhouse steak. Along this fertile line exists some of the finniest restaurants in America's Heartland. The specialty of this sub-region is Brunch, and one establishment stands head and shoulders above the lot. Emmett's Cafe is a beacon of Columbus casual fare. A cozy 4 top with a bench in the window will convert you to a regular. You woke up early? Tuck yourself back into bed with a cozy handheld. Need a boost? A bounty of energizing refreshments is loaded and at the ready. Looking for something healthy? Stop in on your way to the gym for a pick-me-up of lighter options. With treats, sides and add-ons this may be the most customizable menu in Ohio. They even boast a kid's menu with a plethora of dishes for your little ones. As I said before there's plenty of fine options in the neighborhood, but Emmett's is the cornerstone of brunch eateries, and with rumors of accolades swirling, only a fool would take this option off the table.
