Came in from out of state and one of our stops inside was Firdous. Ordered directly off the menu…nothing special, no special requests. People working the booth on a Saturday just stared at us. We had to ask several times and it was as if they couldn’t understand us. The ended up making something somewhat close to what we wanted as we pointed out specific ingredients that would normally come on said menu item. It was a very odd and strange experience considering we had such an awesome experience with all the other vendors we purchased from.

We love going to North Market and eating at Firduos Express. They have a great variety of dishes, and what really stands out to me is how clean they are — that’s a big plus in my book. My go-to order is salmon with Greek salad, extra hummus and extra tzatziki, plus saffron and red rice — absolutely my favorites. You should try it and tell me what you think! Another thing I love is that their food isn’t heavy on my stomach. We’ve tried similar food from other places around there, and it was a mistake — nothing compares to Firduos Express. I truly recommend it. Try that dish and let me know how it goes! The only downside: the bathrooms at North Market were pretty dirty — no paper and water all over the place. But overall, if you’re into healthy, fresh food and want to eat somewhere you can feel safe and clean, Firduos Express is the place!

While I’m glad I ended up eating here would probably eat here again whenever in the North Market area, the food wasn’t anything to write home about in the realm of Columbus mediterranean. Got a gyro shawarma platter, saffron rice, tzatziki, tabouli. The portions were reflective of the price but almost everything was lacking any crazy flavor. The rice wasn’t very warm and didn’t have the quality that you consistently get from a Lavash. The gyro meat was very straightforward lukewarm gyro meat, the greek salad a very generic greek salad, the tzatziki wasn’t bad by any means but just lacking flavor. The highlights by far were the tabouli and then hummus, both were extremely enjoyable and would return for those alone.

This was the lest flavorful Mediterranean food, and honestly most bland food I’ve ever had. The chicken was thinly sliced, slimy, and flavorless. The proportions were very small and not worth half the price.

The namoura was really heavy and almost sickly sweet.
Expensive for the small amount of food I received. It wasn’t great. And the workers are never nice. I can go elsewhere for better food and a better price. Last time I’m coming to this market.

I’ve been going to this place for years. I’m shocked by how expensive it is now. Their spicy rice is way saltier now which is very off putting.

I love their salad, but I wish it had more toppings. I asked for extra olives from the serving plate and was charged $1.50. The salmon is delicious, very well seasoned and goes perfectly with the salad.
