This red headed guy by the name of Mitchel is very rude. I have no idea what his problem was but the way he talks to people is a disgrace. Worst of it He literally smelled of alcohol when he was talking. Makes me very uneasy knowing someone like that works for a company that helps the fire departments. Yikes. Won’t be back to this location. **RUN**. Then I read the review about the service dog. Good lord are you serious!
We were not greeted upon entry and had to wait for our order to be taken as 1 employee worked on an order and called for help that was slow in coming. We ordered 1 club on a sub, 1 build your own and 1 hook and ladder all footlong. All 3 sandwiches were enjoyable. All the subs we had were tasty with ample meats and toppings well worth the price. The youth staff provided terrible service, they assumed there was 1 order for two guests, they bagged up 2 large subs and 1 regular and when the error was pointed out we were told we'll its OK because the regular has footlong meat on it hand struggled to make it right but did. Poor customer service really tainted a 1st time visit to Polaris store. Store was pleasant by design and very clean. I will continue enjoying Firehouse Subs, maybe not Polaris. The preparer didn't make a fresh footlong, he took the meat and toppings off the regular and put it on the footlong bread
The fries are fabulous. I was given a free sample at south gahanna location and added to my orders from that time on. Yes I did order fries.

I eat at firehouse 2-4 times a month. I always order the large Italian because it is unbeatable. this past time I was handed my sandwich and I had to set it down to verify there was a sandwich in the carton. it was in there, it was still tasty, but it was 50% lighter than ever before. if firehouse is going to get skimpy they'll go the way of subway. I ate the whole thing, which has been a fulfilling meal in the past, not this time. if it happens again I'll assume they've caved and stop recommending them to everyone. I'll give them one more shot and if it happens again I won't be back. honestly I come here for the food not the price so this was truly a large disappointment.
Today, they had a great crew here. They have a friendly atmosphere, and the food is back to the way I remember it used to be.

I had a good experience tonight with my family, we stopped in at 755ish and they had already begun nightly cleaning. I was greeted the moment I walked in. My family as well. We order 4 subs total. We all enjoyed our food greatly. The old gentleman mopping definitely made us smile too. Good review from me.

I'm giving 1 star overall one star for food because of the incidents that happened today. I would have given 5 stars for service but what happened today was not 100% fixed so I dropped it to 2 instead of 1 because I was also told that if I give one of the managers names that was there today my next sub is free which kind of helps.
I placed my order online. Went to go pick it up. Was ready to go but when I got back to work had noticed it was made incorrectly. Now this is a 15-minute drive I have to do as well and their phone number on anything does not work. So you cannot even call the store to let them know that your order was incorrect and if you could just get a refund instead of having to drive another 15 minutes to let them know that the order was wrong and that you would like a replacement. So when I showed up to get my replacement they did partially remake it correctly without the mayonnaise and tomato like I requested. But they forgot to add the bacon which is two more dollars that I didn't even get cuz it was messed up the first time and the second time they didn't even put it on there and they looked at the sub so either the first one didn't have it on it and I got charged for it or they just forgot to put it on my second one. Over the past 3 years I have seen lots of different employees at this location and there's just something with this location that it's just never good. Something always gets messed up and it never gets properly resolved

First the site wouldn't let us order a BLT sub. So then built you own option we did. Then when the sandwich came with olny Bacon and Mayo. This is not right at all.

First time visiting a Firehouse Sub. The man taking my order wasn’t friendly. If you don’t like working with the public, don’t apply for these positions. I ordered 2 subs. I asked for NO MAYO my sub was LOADED with mayo. Didn’t Feel Like Going Back To The restaurant so they didn’t have other orders to make Couldn’t EAT MY SUB

Takes forever to get a meal and the staff put mayonnaise on two of three subs after telling them three times not to on two of our subs. My teenager won’t eat his sub because they put so much GD mayo on it and left the peppers off the Philly cheesesteak that I asked for three times. The entire staff needs retraining or hearing aids. Oh, and when you call the number to the store, it’s disconnected so now I can’t even call to ask for a refund; I’d have to drive the three miles. You guys suck! I’m done!

Ive had alot of hook and ladder subs over the years, and today i had the worst experience ive ever had at a firehouse sub location. firstly i attempted to call in my order to save sometime, however the phone was intentionally left off the hook which is always a frustrating tactic lazy employees use. secondly the majority of the staff working today seemed very uneducated and didnt even know how to correctly make a hook and ladder sub. i split the sandwich in half with my wife, it was absolutely smothered in mayonnaise, i love mayonnaise but i mean it was smothered. also my wifes half had random pieces of roast beef hanging off the side. just sloppy whoever manages this location should seriously consider a better staff at polaris before it gets burried.
