Went here for a birthday dinner and had a very nice time. The food was delicious and priced well for the quantity. The drinks were fun but not very strong. The vibes were exactly what I was seeking and loved the smell of fire while dining. The staff was great, I even saw the table next to us have an allergy concern and they handled it perfectly (the person reacted to something despite checking all allergens prior and it was clearly not the restaurant’s fault as the person was also confused about what caused it). My only complaint is the reservation system, I tried to get on the waitlist and on the app it was both cancelled and approved but I received no notification, the staff was also unsure but let us sit at the bar until a table opened, it wasn’t until the next afternoon that I got an email saying my reservation had been cancelled.
Parking: It’s the short north. Be ready to park in a garage or paid lot and walk a lil bit. I wouldn’t trust street parking on a weekend night. (Scary drivers)
Kid-friendliness: Not a good kids vibe, tweens might have fun but young kids would not mesh well.
My husband and I dined at fireproof last night. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar, the bartender, Mark, was very welcoming and friendly! Then we sat for dinner and were greeted by Emily, she was very pleasant and accommodating. She gave us some great recommendations! We enjoyed the ravioli and skirt steak the most! The mussels were a tad salty but still good! Overall great experience, especially the service, will dine again!

We have been to Fireproof twice now. Once in 2021 and once in 2024. Both times were great experiences. The staff is attentive and hard working. The atmosphere is clean and modern. The small plates are all delicious. We did the chef tasting experience bith times and were blown away both times. Thank you for an awesome experience!
Cool vibe. Hostess was attentive and pleasant. Food choices were interesting with a lot of variety with good sized portions for tapas...but everything was overly salty. Our server was not great but other servers seemed to be present and helpful at other tables so I can't ding the whole restaurant for one server. I'd probably try it again.

We had a great time at the Re-grand opening. Lovely staff and splendid atmosphere. This elegant restaurant is the place to be for a fun and exciting night out with friends or a date. Enjoy the many drinks variety at the bar or order a bite to eat, the menu items are really affordable. Give them a try.

Tapas was excellent- nice variety. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and made some good suggestions. She was very friendly. We really enjoyed our meal. We shared 4 dishes which was plenty of food: Vietnamese Spring rolls, spicy potatoes, chicken dumplings and hummus. All were excellent!
Service was attentive which is fantastic and the food even better, definitely recommend the wagyu empanadas and strangely enough the elote and ceaser salad combo was outstanding. Nothing but good things to say.
My wife and I dined there Saturday August 17th. We are older Eastsiders and have patronized the restaurant more than a dozen times. As always the food was excellent, ambiance interesting and comfortable, and service exceptional. But the parking exoerience was horrifying. where the lot is shared with apartment s and condo owners . It was a cool light rain night in the Short North and we attempted to navigate the complex parking rules in the rear. Apparently, we and at least one other carload of guests chose wrong. Our vehicle(and theirs) was towed When I reported to the hostess she said she was supposed to give me a printed parking pass which someone forgot. Then, she gave me directions to the Shamrick towing lot. The directions were wrong and I wandered the dark alleys and side streets of the Short North for about an hour while my wife tried to give me new and improved directions from the restaurant. I finally retrieved my vehicle for $156.95 My advice: patronize this establishment but don’t attempt to drive to it. Steve Gussler

We went here for my birthday dinner and everything so so good. We enjoyed the happy hour specials on a Friday and had many drink and app options to choose from. The service and attentive staff and management were five star. They even brought out a birthday cake and sparking candle for my special day unexpectedly. I would highly reccomend also for groups and private events.
