First Watch is my go to place for meetings with friends. I have been going there every Saturday for years, and other days as well. All of the servers are pleasant. It does get a bit loud sometimes, but that's to be expected from a busy restaurant.

$5.60 Kale Tonic didn’t get my moneys worth bc they filled the cup with ice all the way to the brim. Smh next time I’m going to ask for no ice. What is this? Three sips of a drink and all ice.

Whew - I don’t even know where to begin. We arrived for breakfast (we had a conference at the Quest center - we stayed at Hilton and First Watch was recommended) we arrived around 8am and the bathroom was already trashed (see photos) so it clearly wasn’t tended to the night before. Was no toilet paper so I had to AiR dRy. Next was the food. I ordered the French toast, the center was runny just pure wet runny custard. So the outside was cooked but inside was not. Waitress offered to make me another order which I agreed but it didn’t come out until the rest of my coworkers had finished so I didn’t have time to eat as we were in a hurry to be at the quest by 9:30. Yes it took over an hour and a half to get orders for four people. Then my coworkers ordered potatoes, she shared while I was waiting for my food. The potatoes were hard like raw, so hard and raw they weren’t edible. My co workers order was wrong she sent it back and don’t reorder. I would never eat there nor recommend it. Waitress could’ve offered refund or done something. She acted oblivious and seemed very out of her element. This First Watch is a disgrace - I’ve eaten at the one on High Street numerous times as well as one in Orlando and they are terrific. Top Notch. This one shows that one bad apple or one lazy employee or cook can ruin your whole business.

Reason you might meet at a breakfast place vs Tim Hortons is service. Yet the waitress dropped the food, dropped the check, and didn’t return for the 90 min we were there. No refills provided on coffee or tea. When meeting for business you don’t want to say anything or try to flag down a manager or anything:

Holey donuts! That is actually what they are called on the menu and they live up to the name. For a place that is not known for donuts, they were better than any I have had from a donut shop in Columbus. The donuts themselves are little nuggets of soft, cakey goodness, but it is the dipping sauces that really make it special. One is a fruit jam and the other is a dark chocolate sauce. We ate other food too and it was good, but get those donuts while you can. They are a limited seasonal special. Service was great as well.

Food was average, service was poor. I ate an entire meal without 1 refill of my ice tea...

We stop at this First Watch location often when we are driving through Columbus. It is always busy, but they still have great food and fast service. The staff and manager are friendly and accommodating.

I would like to make a suggestion. When someone orders their food online on your website, and they have given themselves ample time to make it to your restaurant knowing the traffic may be horrible and take a lot of time. It would really nice for your place to be able to que up that order online at that moment when the customer makes your Cashier/Host and Hostess aware that they set the order for 30 minutes in the future but were able to make it there faster than expected. Instead of making it a 30 minute wait when the customer is standing right there in front of your register. Call an audible and make it happen. 7-8 minutes of a wait is way better than 30 minutes of standing there waiting. Even offer them to have a seat at least and give them an option for faster service. If that would work better for their situation. Either way the experience for the customer would be way better with an active response to resolve the time to waiting so long.

Pros: Juices are delicious Love the seasonal menu friendly staff easy to get on their waitlist - they text you when your table is ready Cons: Super crowded after the holiday, so had a wait a while Also the food was not up to its usual high quality - my chicken quinoa bowl was mushy and over sauced Parking can be difficult when strip is busy Pro tip: You need to pay for bill at the front so don't sit around waiting for your server to come get your payment. The Dublin location does a better job with food quality even when they are busy.
