Six of us attempted to try the Fox in the Snow in New Albany. We entered the location and were told it was closed. Unfortunately, one of the people in our party made a b-line to the bathroom. He’s in his 70s and incontinent due to recent cancer treatments. We all tried to call him back but he just went in (because he had to). The staff yelled frantically like there was an emergency. It didn’t matter; he achieved his goal and was in the restroom. We waited by the door. A minute later one of the staff came over, scowling all the way, and making strange faces that suggested he was beyond his limits. “We can’t have you in here. We’re closed,” he growled. Maybe it was a tough day, but this was clearly too difficult for him to handle. We said, “no problem” and went outside to wait. I tried to crack a joke and the kid looked as if he was in pain. Then they locked the door. My father-in-law was trapped! When he finally came out one of the overwhelmed staff made the long walk from the counter to unlock the door. Why didn’t they lock the door when they closed? They figured out how to use it when they locked my father-in-law inside. Maybe they just don’t understand when to use the lock? We’re not going back to this place. They were rude. There are so many other good options we’re not going to deal with a staff that are weird and incompetent.
Wow! An exceptional coffee shop and bakery. The food was outstanding. It's a hot spot so you need to grab a table early.

Busy, bustling, thriving trendy little gem hidden in Campus, short north area on 23N. Food was served fresh and hot! Delectable displays of delicious hand made pastries to eat in or carry out as I did. As show in the pics, place was jammed and a line out the door but worth the Kings Island size line for the food and upbeat atmosphere. Don't live in C-bus anymore but DO come to visit, and will DEFINITELY be back here..

First time going to Fox in the snow, we decided to give it a try since we finally had a location that was close to us. Pastries are good, breakfast sandwiches are also good but the coffee was disgusting, it tasted like gas station coffee.

Last weekend I was in Columbus for a wedding and stayed right down the street from Fox in the Snow on N.4th Street. Every time I walked by - there was a line out the door that would tell you it was great but every time I walked by there were people walking from all directions to join the line. It looked like a beacon and a very special place. As a business owner, I wondered what are they doing right?? So a week later and back home, I checked out your website and just watched your “about you” video. You are doing everything right!! So here’s a 5 star review from just a passer by as I didn’t even have the chance to stop in but absolutely love your story!!
I'm confused about how this place is so well rated. maybe it was an off day for the bakery, or I ordered the wrong things (ham and cheese croissant and everything croissant), but I'm skeptical. seems like the kinda place that is skating by on 'vibes', at least partly.

Very spacious, well lit and well decorated inside. Was cool to see the staff making pastries through the window. Plenty of seating and would imagine it to be a good place to get work done. Not sure if they have free wifi though.
Food ratings:
- Matcha latte - 4/5 was a bit on the sweet side. Had options for whole milk, almond milk and oat milk. Didn’t charge extra for the plant-based milk.
- Blueberry scone - 3/5 too much sugar in the top, it wasn’t warmed up so the exterior of the scone itself was quite difficult to bite into. Enjoyed the fresh blueberries though.
Staff were friendly! May return to try other pastries, hopefully they’re not topped with sugar.

I went to school at Ohio State, and whenever I come back to Columbus, we need to stop at Fox in the snow. Their egg sandwich truly is the best I’ve ever had. All of their other baked goods are fantastic as well. Coffee is very good, I would put it on or near the level of similar coffee shops in town like Roosevelt or One Line, but wouldn’t put it as high as a two tigers or Royal flamingo. The weight is usually pretty long anytime on the weekend, and can even get busy around 10 or 11 on a weekday. But it’s well worth it!

Cutest cafe to grab breakfast/light lunch! The blueberry galette was absolutely delectable. The natural light shining through their giant windows are also very lovely. Definitely recommend. The egg sandwich was filling and quite tasty!
