Freedom a la Cart Cafe + Bakery

Love this place and the mission behind it. We use them almost exclusively for our women's work group functions and people RAVE about the food. I also got Cookies for a Cause to gift for Christmas!

Parking: Not sure about how much free street parking, but downtown parking can be tricky to some folks!

I had the Mediterranean avocado toast and the flavors were delicious! I’m always up for a new take on avocado. I also tried the freedom latte - loved the flavors, so good and so different. The cafe is cozy and everyone is so friendly. I enjoy myself every time I stop in. Thank you.

Tried breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised ,coffee was superbly brewed and flavored . I kind of wondered in while I was looking for a store and pleasantly surprised!

Outstanding in every way. Everything we ate was delicious. No TV, soft relaxing music a plus.

I was really excited to try this place out. My drink was great, but my avocado toast with lox and a poached egg was apparently still thawing at the time it was served. I politely asked the staff to warm it up. They said “sure” and brought it to the back, and then later on said they could not do it because of health regulations. I said no problem, but the avocado spread and toast have chunks of ice in them. They looked at me and said “salmon is supposed to be cold”….i responded that the entire dish was frozen. They just handed it back to me. I received no apology or offer to replace the order. It was a terrible customer service experience. The appearance of the food and atmosphere however, was great.

When I approached the counter the associate at the register intentionally walked away so that she wouldn't have to help me. It took 30 minutes for my order even though I only got ONE item and they were not busy at all.

My husband and I both love this little breakfast spot. It’s hard to find places in the city with healthier simpler breakfast options and this place does the trick. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Their iced lattes are as good as they come. When we’re in town we always have breakfast here at least once if not more.

Parking: About 8 spots of free parking. Very convenient. Have always been able to grab a spot without issue.

Very darling spot with kind service. I had the Don’t Judge Me sandwich and Chai-der. The sammie was very good, nothing too crazy on the senses, an easy sandwich one would make with leftovers after having a roast chicken for dinner. Not my favorite but I wouldn’t say no if anyone suggested visiting again.

What!!! I mean I knew of this place, but I didn’t know it was like THIS. Cute af!!! And the food is GOOOOOD. Like, fire. I had the chicken salad sandwich and I’m picky about chicken salad. This is BOMB chicken salad and the service was great.
