I went there for the first time last night and I can tell you one thing I WILL NOT BE BACK. I was there around 930 ish and decided to sit in the bar. There was at least 8 bartenders and it wasn’t a full bar. Every single person keep walking by me as if though i wasn’t needing service. I ended up stopping someone to get a menu and then had to stop another person just to place an order! Then stopped another one because my food and drink was not good at all. I was going to order a shot of gin to add to my cocktail due to it not having any in it and before I could do that the bartender rudely cut me off and said “I don’t make that it comes premade” well why the hell you didn’t inform me of this so I then asked if they make any cocktail from scratch? So I ordered another one to give it a try and it was better than the first one. I didn’t eat my lobster and escargot and crispy rice appetizers because they weren’t good. I asked them to take one off and the first drink and I would pay for the new drink and the not ate appetizer to be fair still. This same bartender rude once again telling me I can’t I’ll go get my manager which I don’t mind at all, but no manager showed up he instead took it off. I paid my 33 dollars and left a $5 tip which honestly wasn’t worth the service I received at all. I WAS REALLY WANTING TO ENJOY MY NIGHT OUT AND RELAX BUT I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!

To be unfair our bartender practiced pouring for fifteen minutes without asking us what we wanted. After we got a table, we waited twenty minutes and never got to order. We then left and got food somewhere

Galla Park overall was an ok experience. It was the only restaurant that had a lot of availability on a very busy evening where other restaurants nearby had a 2-3 hour wait. I could see why it was less popular since the menu was a bit overpriced, the selection was very limited, and portion sizes were extremely small. I am ok with small portion sizes since I'm a 'quality over quantity' person, but while the flavors were good, the quality was on par with something I could easily throw together at home. Before I ordered, the staff waffled back and forth between whether they could accommodate a shellfish allergy, first they reassured me that they could, then they came back and said they could not. There were only a couple bites of beef in the surf bowl and the black bean hummus dip appetizer was smeared very thin over a small plate with a few cucumber slices and pita triangles around the edge of the plate. Overall, would not recommend compared to other options in the area, but if you are ok spending a lot for a light meal, then it's not bad.

Beautiful space! Clean and tables not too close together. The Spicy Tuna Poppers were a favorite for my wife and I. My sister and wife had the Surf Sushi Bowels. They loved them and the portions were perfect. We aren't comfortable with being served too much food. I'm trying to go more plant-based and the Porotobello sandwich was perfect. People don't realize it tastes like beef and is the perfect option for a healthier lifestyle. Hanna and the manager made the evening great. We loved how friendly they were without intruding. We love the music and will go back!

my server hannah was absolutely outstanding. she recommended a few dishes upon our dietary requests and was so helpful. the entire staff was soooo helpful. i also have to shout out the host (i think her name is jess?) tho due to her understanding as to how certain people fit into certain booths. there was a party of around 13 of us and they initially tried to fit us into a small round booth but as soon as we went in there was an issue. we vocalized this to the host and she immediately found another place for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!! Jess was amazing and accommodating for my group!

The service was amazing. My server Madeline was AMAZING. She made sure everything was up to our standards. BUT the host Jess… she was phenomenal. She wanted to seat us in the lounge which was beautiful, but did not fit our party standards. She put us in a booth that satisfied us so much more.

I've been to many "chic" restaurants around the world, and Galla Park Social is not one of them. To start, we made reservations and were barely greeted by the hostess, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table, we waited another 20 minutes to have a waiter coming to our table, and we struggled hearing each other since the music was loud. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks and another 15 minutes for the waiter to come back and take our orders. The food arrived after another 30 minutes, and it was disgusting. The flavor was flat, the food was cold, not fresh at all, and the presentation was poor. You can tell the kitchen was busy, and they were just throwing the food on the plates for the sake of getting it out, but they would stand there waiting to be taken to the tables. After about an hour, we didn't have drinks, and the waiter told us they ran out of the desserts we ordered. They only had "something else", and unfortunately, we couldn't hear because at that time, a DJ showed up who had absolutely no clue how to create an ambiance, he doesn't even know how to mix music. The place became darker, apparently into a club, since a bunch of teenagers started to enter. By the time we were ready to leave, we couldn't find our waiter, we reached out to the manager and he wasn't even able to help us because he couldn't hear us at all, so ignored us. The waiter came with dry burned deserts and waited for another 30 minutes for our checks. All of our checks were wrong, 2 of our friends didn't receive their checks and literally had to wait at the hostess stand, while the music became louder. The bottle girls were not friendly and started kicking us out since they needed the tables for their VIP area (haha, pathetic). I will never come back to this place.
