First time there, impressed by the atmosphere and menu. Food was fantastic- everything was hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. From the meatball and sausage appetizer to the BTP pizza and salad, all were delicious. Great and friendly service. Will go back!

Neighborhood place and decor was nice, but place was really loud. We had two older folks in our party of 5 that had a hard time. The salmon with risotto was really good, but the shrimp scampi was really BLAND and the lasagne special had cold spots inside. Glad we tried something new, but probably won't be back.

First time to Gallo's and we'll definitely be back. Tasteful, fun decor with great lighting and a beautiful bar. The space isn't huge like so many restaurants so it's a more intimate, lively atmosphere. Our reservations were for 2 and when we walked in there was a sign that read "Please Seat Yourself" which was a little confusing. But we were quickly intercepted by a friendly gentleman (host) who seated us. He also explained the gin tasting they offered that evening (apparently they have different tastings periodically; e.g, gin, bourbon, etc.) and gave us food and drink menus. The food, service, and ambiance was excellent so, all around, a stand-out restaurant.

Our experience at Gallo's on High was fantastic from the moment we were seated to when we left. The manager greeted us, our server Georgie was there immediately to take our drink order, appetizers (stuffed mushrooms) and our entree were brought out, all with excellent timing with no rushing of drinks but timely serving of food as we were ready. It was our anniversary and we received complimentary recognition (chocolate cake and Italian candies). We were unaware that such a comfortable, affordable and delightful restaurant experience was so close to us in Clintonville. There's no doubt that we intend to increase the number of times we visit Gallo's for both family events as well as elegant tasting entrees in the future. Thank you to all that made this experience second to none (Kudos and big thumbs up to the Chef for wonderful preparation and presentation.

Experience was average. We arrived late and they said they had to give our table away, so we got placed at an awkward hightop right by the door. Understandable that this was our fault, but they also were not drastically busy. I got the Pear Elderflower which was kind of hard to enjoy and get down taste wise. Our server was okay, but we saw him hide behind the front of the wall a few times to be on his phone, which wasn't the best look. Just kind of a mid experience. Will probably consider the UA location next time.
