The biergarten was nice. Food really sucked though.... we got 1oz of beer cheese for $4 for the giant pretzel. The brat was mid and not worth the price. The schnitzel was decent but not really that good and was definitely not worth the price tag. I would pass on this place.... spent over $100 and left wishing I went to a fast food restaurant instead.

Delicious German beer and the atmosphere can’t be beat! My favorite was the Woden’s hunt dunkel. Dark. Malty. Delicious. We come here every time we are in Columbus.

Go here! I had the wiener schnitzel (which is hard to find in my area) and it was sooooo good. I asked for extra lemon and it was gourmet. I had a side of Kasespatzle and roasted vegetables. It was one of the best meals of my life. The staff and atmosphere were special. I bought some beers to go, as well. The only thing is that if you want IPA, you won't find hoppy beer here. German beer just isn't like that. But don't let that stop you!

We didn’t drink beer so I can’t comment on that. My wife had the Smashburger which she said was good but was a tiny little patty. It would’ve been $20 for a two patty one and perhaps she should’ve ordered it. I had the Yeager schnitzel, which was microscopically, thin and quite hard to cut. They gave me a little thimble full of sauce that only covered about a quarter of it. The two sides I had were very good, but overall I was not really impressed. We also ordered the giant pretzel which was good but unlike shakers and some of the other places they charge you for each one of the cheeses. It just seems to me like this is a place with average food that is nickel and dime new for everything possible. The manager working and the weight staff was very nice and accommodating. The manager gave me another container full of sauce for my dinner but he said normally they would’ve charged for that.

I go to Germany multiple times a year. My office is there. I eat quite a bit of German food. But by no means an expert. The food here is solid about as close to German food as you can get but that’s only cause the ingredients will be slightly different from Germany to America. Beer is good the selection of beers is great and they do have Helles which is my favorite German style beers. The staff is ok. They are more like just order takers with a bit of tablet tipping in between.Bottom line a must try. The food, drinks and atmosphere is worth it.

Great spot for a beer and food. The beer was fresh and paired well with the food. The food was on point. You must try the schnitzel. It blows many other German joints out of the water. There is a dedicated parking lot, which is great for this part of town. Didn’t get a chance to sit in the Biergarten but it looked spacious. We will definitely be back!

We visited 10 different breweries on a recent trip to Columbus, and Gemüt was our favorite! We loved all of the beers we tried! The Schwarzbier was my favorite, but I wouldn't hesitate to drink any of the other options. They have fest haus seating and a beer garden in the back. Free parking in the attached lot.
