Dined at this hotel after four years. Food quality has deteriorated significantly. This hotel is more of a catering place working on party orders. Bisi bela bath was undercooked and horrible! Malai kofta wasn't tasty! Dosas were okay, but the chutneys weren't good! Service was poor too. My advice: Please stay away from dining here!

The reviews are correct about the buffet. Naan is not included with the buffet and many of the dishes were cold. Very expensive given these shortcomings. I will say that we’ve ordered carry out from here and it was delightful, but the buffet leaves a lot to be desired. Will not be coming back.

We went for dinner on a busy day. Even being busy we were well accommodated and looked after very well by Ms.Pratibha. Her smile and hospitality added more touch to our evening. Food was excellent and the menu was out of the world. We being hoteliers for 20 years have never found such homely and unique veg dishes on menus. The owner Mr.Kamal personally looks into every customer which is very praise worthy. We will surely go again!! Great experience!!

Went in for a lunch buffet with a place setting of a simple plastic spoon with a bar napkin and a cheap bottle of water provided, no actual buffet (you ordered ala carte) and the food was mediocre…Cost me $20 and they didn’t bother to tell me their buffet price or anything.I’ll never go back and when I voiced my opinion, the owner wanted to argue with me about the fact that they don’t advertise the overly inflated price, kept saying “price of things have gone up “ like I don’t know the restaurant industry (assuming I’m ignorant,) and though he offered my money back, he was obviously very unhappy with me for voicing my feedback.I’d stay clear of this one.

The food is bad. No taste very poor quality. Since they don’t have help in restaurant the owner asked to clean the stuff before we leave. Never coming back. Worst Indian food I have ever eaten in entire life. If you want authentic taste don’t come here. And they charge 17.99 for basic vegetarian buffet. And please if you have kids don’t bring them here or ask them to eat without spilling anything because they will ask you to clean. There is no incorrect version. Kids don’t know any better. If kids make mess we already cleared the table but expecting us to clean the floor is ridiculous. Being short staffed is not our problem. No restaurant ever asks there customer to clean the floor. And okay you said you need help to clean. So did you provide the broom? You expect us to get on the floor and clean. We waited there patiently for a while to see if you bring broom. And there were barely any people in restaurant. You had enough people to keep your restaurant clean

I never write a review but had to this time so it can help others. The worst Indian food I have ever eaten. They claim they serve a lot so they can charge a-lot. They do serve but very low grade bad chaat, curry with tofu not even real paneer. We made a mistake of going there so had to eat. For 4 people, and a kid we paid around $130. They also charge gratuity of $18 for horrible food and that too at lunch time and it’s not even fine dining. Horrible food and way over priced. If food was good it wouldn’t hurt. Hope this review can help someone. I would give them -1000 points.

It's been a while since we went to Gokul Cafe, we taught it would be good to go back but the food was not good, there were 5 items in buffet and some chats. there wasnt enough nor quality of the food was good....people were waiting for food and the staff would bring out food enough for 2 and expected that will be enough for the entire restaurant. 5 of us went and ended up paying $120....20% gratuity was automatically added when we were getting our own spoons water and clearing our own plates ....service was horrible. I would never go back.

Went there on Sunday 3/20/22. Buffet was available, not sure if they ever stopped their buffet like so many other indian restaurants did due to Covid. However, it's not what it used to be. Only one section of the buffet was open, and only about 3/4 of that section was being used to serve dishes. The appetizers were regularly empty and had to go up several times to actually get some of the items. Slow to restock. It wasn't busy, so can't use the excuse that the restaurant couldn't keep up with the demand. The quality was good, but the value just wasn't there for $18/person.

I never leave a bad review, but the quality of the food here was very poor. It felt as if the food was cooked by an untrained secondary assistant in the absence of the main chef.Ordered a plate of khasta kachori, which in the menu is mentioned as 2 pieces, but received one. That too was charred and bitter. Asked the staff about the missing piece, which he admitted was a mistake and got us a very similar burnt kachori again. The paneer chilli was just paneer cubes in tomato gravy with loads of food coloring.Even though the service was good, and the staff treated us very well, the food quality needs a lot of improvement!

Pathetic! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go for “Vada Pav & Chaat buffet’. It was a worst experience ever! The advertisement looks too fancy, but the quality of food was so bad that it tasted like 1 or 2 days old.Chole - It had some weird smellSamosa - It was too oily and no taste at allVada - it was too hard from inside.Bhel - It was from a readymade packet.Dahi (for sev/dahi puri)- It was kept in a small bawl, as if just 5 people were eating. The owner was too good at justifying that some one is working on the refills. Like every 5 mins!!Dinner buffet: It tasted like atleast 1 day oldThe restaurant is very good at justifying the fact that their services are too good, but not at all feeling for customers!

Food was just mediocre. However the staff is very courteous and welcoming. The vegetarian selection is very limited for a buffet. Cutting corners as much as possible for a profit.

Gokul is a Vegetarian Restaurant and has the best Vegetarian/Vegan options in Columbus OH. The owner himself is present always and is very friendly. I had the best sambhar after a very long time. I would give more stars if there were. Go to Gokul and enjoy their delicacies. Great Family friendly place to enjoy Good tasty Indian food.

A boutique Indian restaurant, service is a bit slow due to lack of labor which is reasonable. Although has a variety of food to offer, there is a bit of room to improve its quality. Good option for veggie foodies!

Lunch buffet had many items. The bhel puri had a bit too much salt; the aloo patty was great. We were put off finding strands of hair in the pulka and veg rice. Took a very long time to get us coffee. The host/manager was very friendly and offered us extra water bottles for our journey. All in all, disappointed with overall quality.
