The team was incredibly fast and efficient in taking our order and working with us to bring our vision to life. We chose their famous strawberry cake for our wedding, which has always been a favorite of mine growing up, and it did not disappoint. The cake was not only beautiful—decorated perfectly to match our theme—but it also tasted absolutely amazing. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious it was, and several people mentioned it was the best wedding cake they’d ever had! I don't understand how well reviewed this place is. We've been a few times and it's just been mediocre. Thought it might have just been a bad order the first few times. We had a cake today that had little flavor and was very waxy.

Amazing and delicious cakes and bakery treats! The very best Strawberry cake, fresh, and moist!! Always wonderful service!!
Nice little shop. All the buns were individually wrapped. Cashier was helpful, polite, and gave us time to pick the buns we wanted as we're not from the area and just wanted a snack to help carry us over at the zoo.
We paid via credit card which kept things simply and easy for everyone.
The buns were fantastic and would stop by again if we are ever in town again. It is a nice little bakery.

I have not been there, but a coworkers friend brought a cake to illinois, and she shared it with all of us and it is a mazing, delicious, absolutely wonderful tasting. I loved it.

Don't sleep on Golden Delight for special occasion cakes! We used Golden Delight for our wedding cake, and it was a total hit. Guests were still talking about the strawberry cake the next day :)

My cake was taken by a previous Door dasher unbeknownst to me, and a different dasher let me know the store said someone already picked it up. This obviously wasn’t the case, so I tried to contact doordash, but they wouldn't cancel the order so the dashers would stop getting reassigned to it, and they wouldn't give me a refund because the order was “in progress.” At that point there was nothing else I could do, so I tried to call the store to cancel the order from their end, but the lady on the phone was VERY rude. She kept cutting me off and wouldn't let me explain the situation and overall had a bad attitude. I've ordered from Golden Delight several times before, but I won't again after this. Very disappointing.
