We just had our first breakfast here. It was delicious. But I have a suggestion: serve THREE pieces of bread for the French toast instead of two. It looks sad on a plate to bring out such a small order. Raise the price to pay for the third slice of bread. I'd feel much fuller if I'd had more delicious French toast to eat. Or offer a two slice version, and maybe a 4 slice version so you have choices.

We would definitely go there again. Great items on the breakfast menu that are reasonably priced. Very good service. Liked the Halloween surprise in terms of atmosphere.

Very cute cafe, for Halloween all the staff were wearing costumes and they had these cute Halloween displays over the tables where they would drop down Halloween stuff and give a cute surprise to the tables. Very fun!

Grand Day Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast and brunch! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start your day with a cup of great coffee and a tasty omelet. It can get a little busy at times, but that just shows how popular and well-loved this cafe is. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Columbus!

I have to say, as a foodie, and especially a breakfast foodie, Grand Day Cafe has become a favorite in my breakfast spots rotation. Kim and John do a great job running a great spot. Good food and great service. They have a printed menu but make sure you scan the QR code to see all of their current specials, there are always many to choose from.
I love sitting at the counter in hopes Kim herself waits on me. She makes it a mission to make sure you are a satisfied patron.
I had to post this review in October because Halloween is near and by the decor you can tell its a loved holiday. As a sat at my barstool enjoying a weekly special a rubber snake dropped from the ceiling to directly in front of my eyesight. I jumped and looked around and saw Kim hiding and giggling. As I enjoyed my breakfast I enjoyed seeing how she had spiders, bats, and snakes rigged from nylon lines dropping to scare folks all over the place.
To have good food and service is enough to bring me back but to see the lengths they go at Grand Day Cafe to ensure a good experience is icing on the cake.

Grand Day Cafe is one of my go-to breakfast and lunch spot in Grandview. The food is always delicious and fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their catering is fantastic: always hot, ready on time, and an office favorite. (They're also a reliable gluten free catering option.) Great local place run by people who care. I highly recommend this for both everyday meals and work catering.

Visited Sunday morning for brunch and the meal was just average got the big sampler and the scrambled eggs were not seasoned in any way and lacked flavor, along with the gravy and the hollandaise, the kid enjoyed the chocolate “chips” pancake, the cappuccino was bland and one of the worst I’ve had, the toffee specialty drink tasted like I was going to get very drunk which is not good considering they do not serve alcohol here. Overall if you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch you’ll easily forget you had this is your spot! Holly the waitress was pleasant and trying to work an overloaded morning.

Family owned with great food. The line on Sunday morning should tell you everything about how good the food is. Worth the wait.
