Love this place. I have been a long time regular here. It's funny, I even met my fiancé here, just didn't know it at the time. Between the two of us, we have had nearly everything on the menu. Everything is good here but they have THE BEST Cesar Salad in the city. Hands down! Perfect cut romaine, chunky provolone, fresh bacon bits and great Cesar dressing. On the menu we've had; Artichoke spinach dip (was Ok) Buffalo dip Chicken wrap Turkey club (they changed it, still good) Pizza French Onion Soup Muscles and fries Wings All the burgers Fish and chips (excellent) Gerber chicken (very good) and recently just had brunch; Chefs omelette Bacon Side of eggs French Toast Always good service. Always. Excellent patio out back! We just sat upstairs for the first time, it's very cute and a little different feel. They have trivia nights, the bar is great to sit at, and they have a great musical playlist! Whoever picks it's is good. Parking is across the street, behind by Round 2 or street for free. We wanted to host our engagement party here but they wanted $1200 for 40 people and 2hrs. That's literally the only complaint I have, maybe we can do a fun engagement photo shoot here.

Have never seen a place go downhill as fast as this one did. Even its next door neighbor (owned by same person) Round 2, has already closed. Tried to share my feedback with the owner via their feedback portal on their website before posting here, never heard back. So, putting this out into the Google land, for all to see and to be informed. Probably a few health code violations in these photos alone. Dirty silverware, went to the bar to ask for more silverware, they literally told me the restaurant is currently out of clean silverware... How does this happen?? Drinks had black goop floating in them. This place is a hot mess.

4.3 stars? Preposterous. Firstly the Caesar salad was atrocious like their orange juice. Reminds me of cheap cafeteria food. Our waiter forgot to ask for our drinks after we waited 20 mins before having to remind another server. The chicken dinner was less than mediocre, bland & dry. KFC is superior. My disenfranchised date nearly froze as our seating area upstairs was the same temperature as outside. We didn’t even finish the meal, paid & left promptly for a real restaurant. This is a bar intended for drinking of which we didn’t partake. Our return will be an impossibility.

First visit was disappointing. The waitress had us scream across the table to place order instead of going to each person. We had to ask for silverware and she only brought one set for 6 people, had to ask again. Atmosphere was loud hard to hear people at your own table ( we went at brunch time on a Saturday) The food was mediocre at best, my chicken was dry and so was the biscuits. Wish it lived up to all the expectations we had.Parking: We had to walk about a block from parkingKid-friendliness: Not a kid friendly place. We went for brunch with reservations stating we had 2 children with us and they sat us at a high top table upstairs

Me and a date sat for 15-20minutes and no service and a group that came after us got severed first that day one booth behind us. They weren’t even that busy on 3/1 around 10. It was ridiculous.

Wasn't mind blowing but good. Our server was pleasant but they kept her busy so service was spotty. Not her fault. She was delightful. Food is good. Typical bar food, again nothing above average. It is very noisy and upstairs seating is quite cramped.

We were told that the Grandview Cafe had good fish and chips, so we suggested it when some friends called to get together for lunch. The fish and chips were not good... they were GREAT! - the best we've ever eaten! Can't wait to go back for more. The only complaint was that the music was so loud we could barely hear each other across the table. We didn't say anything, but will next time we go if it's that loud again.Parking: There are several parking spots dedicated to GC positions across the street from the cafe, in the Panzera's Pizza parking lot.

Horrible service. Very slow, and waitress forgot a lot of things. My partner and I ordered the mimosa deal which includes a carafe of OJ and a full bottle of champagne. The champagne bottle we received was half empty (after waiting for it for 30 minutes), we had to ask for a replacement.

Not good at all. We had avocado toast which was not seasoned at all. We had the chicken and biscuits which was seasoned but poorly and just wasn't the best, everything was overcooked, the poached eggs in my eggs Benedict were over poached and the eggs Benedict virtually had no salt at all. On top of it all the waitress never checked on us and we had to get up every time we needed something, we asked for sugar for my husbands coffee had to ask three times, no salt or pepper on table so had to get up and ask for that since our waitress never came to check on us: awful do not go here

We were seated on the second floor in “the library,” which was so lovely. I had the French onion soup and the GC burger. Both were delicious. Shortly after we were served our drinks, the lights were turned up relatively high, which was odd, but apart from that, everything was awesome!

The food was okay but once you add sides the prices are no longer reasonable. And who charges $2 to add lettuce, tomato and onion to a burger. That should be standard/included. Can't say we'll return anytime soon.

I don't really understand this restaurant. It has so much potential yet falls short in so many ways. It seems like they just rely on their location which obviously is great. However, nothing else is great about the restaurant aside from the patio. Everything else is overwhelmingly average. Sometimes the food is okay. Sometimes it's pretty bad. Sometimes the service is okay or good. Other times it's rude or nonexistent.I have been here many times and have never seen a manager around not once. It doesn't seem to be run well, and the female bartenders especially have an air about them that it doesn't matter what they do their job is secure.I think it's weird they never brought menus back. I think it's unfortunate the servers don't help each other. I think their drink selection both alcoholic and nonalcoholic is lacking, and I don't like that they use plastic cups. The menu makes no sense and desperately needs a reboot. The breakfast potatoes are sad and so is the hard bread the benedict is served on (which otherwise would be a delicious dish). The spinach dip is very inconsistent, and the chips served with it are very average. The burger tastes frozen and I find it inedible. The pizza is just strange. What is up with the cheese on the margarita? The crust is odd as well.I'd come here weekly if they made improvements, but simpletons will always come here so they don't feel the need to do better. Meh.
