Love the atmosphere and every time I go, the service is on point. I’m very critical of restaurant service because I had been a server for ~4 years, but the service here makes me happy every time.

We loved this restaurant. I took my kids while in town for a conference last year and plan to come again this year. Friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere and the food was outstanding! Highly recommend.

This place makes you forget you're in Ohio. Been here a couple times and I still like it. I would've loved to have more food in order to rate it, but I guess I'll have to go back. Kitchen closes at 10 but the crispy chicken bites weren't half bad. Would've liked a little more of the aeoli sauce. The drinks are exactly where you need a beach side drink in a landlocked state. It is a lively place so it was kind of loud but still worth coming. Hope to rate good food soon.

Absolutely loved the drinks. Service was not the best. Server was overwhelmed. He forgot to put food that we had ordered in the beginning in, everything ended up coming out together. He even had wrong items on the bill. I think it was a common occurence, the guy we managed to flag down didn't even question us, he just removed what we said was wrong and charged us for the right one. Would love to try it again, but I'm going to go on a slower night.

Hidden gem!! Drove past a few times before I found it. Incredible atmosphere. Delicious food! Drinks were delicious and the presentation!!! My drink had an orange with sugar on it and it was on fire. He told me it would go out and drop into the drink and it was so cool! For an additional charge you can purchase the mugs or glasses the drinks come in. They had some really cool ones! Everyone who served me was very nice! Will definitely be back (probably every time) I visit Columbus! Such a great spot!

Visited Kahiki many times over the years, only discovered this place maybe a year ago. It's just just as much fun just on a smaller scale. Great drinks. Sad to learn that is closing now. Hope to see something else pop up like it in the Columbus area. Columbus needs tiki.

The Grass Skirt is a great little tiki bar. It was my 1st time to a tiki bar so I didn't have any expectations at all except I was hoping it wasn't terrible. it definitely wasn't bad. The server was great , he was patient and helpful. There were so many drinks to chose from and for the DD ,there were non-alcoholic juice drinks to enjoy as well. We ordered some food too. We had crab dip and wonton chips , it was pretty good & I don't normally like crab dip. It also came with pineapple salsa , now that was amazing! I ordered the Shrimp po' boy, but it was not for my taste buds. The sweet potato wedges were very good. This place is more for drinking than eating. The decor is pretty awesome, and themed perfectly.
The drinks were creative, we loved the decor and had a great time. The waitress bit off a little more than she could chew. Service was slow and we waited an hour before she checked back with us... and the only reason she checked back with us was because we had to flag down a different server. I would go back, but I feel my time would be wasted again.. cool concept, poor service..

Fun atmosphere and great food. Drinks were very strong though! Vegan friendly! I got the shrimp and grits organized = tofu and grits with red curry. Yum.

Great place if you're looking for the unusual. Very powerful (alcoholic) drinks that are rather expensive. Had a nice time and had very pleasant service.

This is a really fun place with interesting an drink and food selection. It's a great mix of flavors on both menus. I had the shrimp and cucumber-mint slaw tacos with the broccoli in a spicy peanut sauce as a side. We split the app platter and they were all great! Coconut shrimp, crab rangoons, wonton chips with pineapple salsa - all great! However, it is a bit overpriced and the service was a little slow. If you're headed there for a night out with friends, you probably won't mind either of those things!
