The chicken, lamb and rice at Hadhwanag Restaurant is SO good! The chicken is juicy and full of flavor, and the rice tastes amazing and smells really nice. It’s the best Somali restaurant in Columbus and definitely worth trying!

Best Somali food out in West Side, Columbus. The lamb shank with rice is my favourite. They also have goat, chicken and all that good stuff. The owner is very nice and takes good care of his customers.

The food is delicious! The owner is very kind. Don't let appearances deter you or you will miss out. My lamb shank was so tender it fell off the bone. This was my first visit so I asked for advice. I wanted to try camel. The owner offered lamb shank I knew I liked and offered to put a few camel pieces on the side. He asked before putting beans on the side, and gave a side of green spicy sauce after asking if I liked spicy. He let me taste 2 drinks I was interested in. I will definitely be back!

Didn’t have high expectations going into this place . Seemed like a pretty run of the mill hole in the wall kind of place. Nothing too fancy. But the food here is absolutely amazing! If you love African or Somalian foods like lamb, goat, or even chicken (which is great here too), this is your place!Especially like the sides they offer like the beans and veggies. If you are getting a rice and meat dish, they will usually give a little bit of the meat curry on the rice . Ask for extra :) those meat juices make the rice extra flavorful. Tastes great with the green sauce too!We liked it so much, we got a catering order for a party!

Such delicious food and friendly people working there. We got the lamb shank and rice, TZ and some tea afterwards. One of the better places in Columbus. I will be back soon!
