“Typical food truck style halal gyro/chicken. AbdulMubeen is a cool dude. Fries imo need more seasoning, though they are crispy. Mix over rice was tasty, maybe go a little easy on the white sauce. Gyro was good, but halal food truck flavor there, not typical gyro shop.

“Food is great, always fresh. but staff can be very dismissive of guest asking questions to verify something on their order. I just ordered Carry out, which included 2 desserts and when I went to pick up I saw the employee grabbed a different item than I ordered. when I asked to confirm they just stapled the bag shut and tossed it onto the counter. I wouldn't normally complain but this is the 3rd time this particular employee has done something similar where my order ended up being incorrect. Unfortunately I don't know their name to call management“

“Always hits the spot. I get it right when I'm getting sick, and it's like a warm hug on a winter day. I recommend the saltah (vegetable soup), the foul stew (lentils) with a side of kabz arabi (bread). Incredible hidden gem. Found it from the Columbus Food Adventures Alt Eats food tour. Have been back a couple times since.“

“Best Malawax in town. I've been too multiple restaurants in columbus that have Malawax, but after a certain time of the day it is no longer fresh. At Sally's Halal Grill, you can come in late at nice and still have fresh malawax.If dining in, I highly recommend the salmon bariis. My go to bariis (somali rice) is usually either chicken or goat, but they knock it out the park with the tender, fresh, salmon.Also large portions!“

“A lot of places don't pay attention to special requests, but this one does. I got the Saffron Special Pack with goat tikka masala and vegetable samosas, it also came with naan, basmati rice, and a drink--amazing value and a lot of food for the price $. I asked for extra spicy and they made sure it was extra spicy! Delicious wholesome food with plenty of meat, whole spices and fresh vegetables. When you pick up, you need to ring BOTH doorbells: the small one that says Saffron, and the big one that allows them to see who's at the door. This was new to me but they called me and explained over the phone and he was very nice about it. Impressive quality and prices, I will be back here again!“

“Vegan options are clearly marked. The hummus was rated best in Columbus for a reason. It's amazing!!! Everything here is great. The falafel, pita, rice, all very fresh and spiced perfectly! The staff is amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The owner is a great guy too. Never had a bad experience. True local gem in Columbus!!“
