The food is hot and fresh. The portion is good sized and can make two meals. I had the steak hibachi and soup. Service is quick and the people who work there are pleasant. Overall this was a nice surprise and the donuts were also delicious.
An odd place for sure but absolutely worth a visit for very good hibachi for the price. The actual restaurant's name is Golden Donuts & Diner so don't be thrown off if you drive up and think you're at the wrong place. The building is your classic diner type place with small booths and a counter you can sit at. It was a tad messy in there but I typically don't care about that unless it's out of hand. I eat here regularly, dine-in and takeout and they are consistent! They fry & season their food perfectly~ (also, I much, much prefer Golden Donuts hibachi bento to the Mr. Hibachi on fairwood...).
