Love this place!!!! Every time my wife and I come here we feel like family!! The music and staff here is incredible to the point to where we feel like this is the best place to go for all events!!! A huge shout out to howl at the moon’s staff for always going above and beyond any other bar on the short north!!!!

Extremely rude bar staff, avoid this place like the plague. Bar manager screamed at members of our party, nearly foaming at the mouth, and attempted to initiate a verbal conflict which we were forced to deescalate. Immediately left and took our entire party down the street to Brother’s, where we had a much nicer experience, and which was actually staffed by sane people knowing how to bartend (unlike the crooks and hotheads staffing this absolute trap).
0/10. If considering renting the space and bringing a large group here, you should absolutely reconsider. There are better places to spend your money.

My company rented out the place for the evening. The bartenders and wait staff were absolutely phenomenal. And the food was surprisingly good. I'm not used to bars having high quality good tasting food and they surprised me. Definitely a place to go to when in downtown Ohio. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the theme of this place is piano bar which means they play music and perform for you. Really good performers really good singing the atmosphere and performances make this definitely a place to stop in and spend an evening.

Really fun vibe if you're looking for Karaoke-style music from a live band. Request your favorites for them to sing! Dance floor, bar to hangout and outside patio to chill away from the bar bine inside. Has a little bit of everything. Good drinks and food available as well.

I was invited to Howl at the Moon by Jessica Tarsnane, the national marketing manager, for a happy hour. I was told that I, as well as my guests can “check in” under my name and they would be directed to us. However, upon arrival there was no one working to “check in” with. In addition, I was promised drink specials via my email invitation. Again, upon arrival I was given a full priced menu with none of the specials on there. After being grossly overcharged for 4 drinks, I reached out to Jessica via email to which no solution was founded. I received NONE of what was advertised via email and was disregarded when I reached out. This hurt a lot as I don’t usually go out and I was embarrassed and hurt more so after reaching back out to Jessica as I expected understanding in the matter. Had I not been given expectations of what to expect via email this likely wouldn’t have been a big deal but I can guarantee I will not fall for the email invite again!

My wife and I rented the top level for our wedding reception. Our coordinator, Autumn, and bar staff were phenomenal. They were very accommodating and very welcoming. They checked in on us the entire night. The bartenders ensured everyone had water, was very friendly with everyone, and even offered to help us with clean up at the end of their night. Autumn was specifically phenomenal when it came to planning everything and making sure everything was to our liking. The reason for the low rating is because of their GM, Dean. One of my guest forgot their ID. Instead of rationally, and respectfully informing him that they would not be able to serve him because of their policies, he decided to go on a power trip and antagonize them. He refused to give out the pre-paid drink tickets, which were to be used for non alcoholic drinks as well. He stormed after my guest as they went up to the reception area and made a scene with the bartenders about not serving my guest or else they would lose their jobs. The fact that other guests overheard this was concerning as well. I understand that there are legal reasons for not being able to serve anyone without any identification. That’s completely reasonable. My issue is the approach. How are you going to be the manager, yet you take personal offense to confrontation and are unable to maintain your own composure? Please take a lesson from your own staff on how to handle stressful situations while still being respectful. Again, staff was amazing. Their poor excuse of a GM was not.

I had a private event here and would recommend Autumn and her staff to anyone! She was responsive prior to the event and was onsite all night assisting with questions. Her staff was friendly and made sure we had what we needed all night. They even made us extra food when extra guests showed up. Plus the music was fun and in a great part of Columbus.

I booked a table for my best friend's Bachelorette Party & from the time we entered the door until we left it was an amazing experience! We were a group of 5 & we sang, danced, smiled and laughed all night. When we arrived we were immediately greeted with a swag bag for our Bride to be & Dave came up to us shortly after to get any music requests she had. The entertainment was fantastic & the vibe all night was phenomenal! This was all of us, except one, first experience here and we are already talking about making this a yearly get together. Thank you Howl at the Moon for a night we will never forget!!!

We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite after the Weezer concert and stumbled on Howl at the moon. They only had a few flat breads to choose from and the kitchen was closing soon. Wow are we glad we tried it. The Margarita flatbread was DELICIOUS!! The bartender was super friendly. Drinks were great. Everything was wonderful. If you are ever in Columbus I highly recommend stopping here!
