Nice Somali restaurant in North Market. My first time eating Somali food. I got the rice bowl with the Mango Chicken and another chicken. I also got 2 types of rice. Everything was delicious and tasty. Everyone was very friendly. The prices are okay not cheap. I paid $18.00 for my bowl.
My wonderful wife said she knew I’d like the food she saw there when she was at lunch at North Market, so brought home for me the goat bowl with the spicy rice, cabbage and spinach along with two of their spicy sauces. It was outstanding! All of it flavorful on its own and the goat was wonderful with only a drop or two of the sauces. I love very spicy food and my mouth is still feeling this meal a bit! Usually hot sauces have spicy and a vinegar taste. These were spicy but...
The reviews are accurate you need to try this place! I had both the Mango & Saqquar (spicy) Chicken. I look forward to making another trip soon to sample The Goat. Don’t skip the Habanero & Yogurt sauce.
