Hunan House is a nice, comfortable sit down Chinese restaurant. When we go it's a 1.5 - 2 hour meal. It's drinks, appetizers, etc. It's more expensive then the corner carryout but well worth it. Have not eaten here in years. So sorry, food is delicious. I had their beef with vegetables, yummy. And I have enough for lunch tomorrow. Other members of the group had Pad Thai, Mango Shrimp and other goodies. Definitely worth another visit or two or three
Been eating at Hunan House for 30 years (grew up nearby on Cooper Rd), and it is quietly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Columbus, if not THE best. Their food and service have always been excellent. Fresh ingredients and delicious, colorful dishes. Got to introduce my fiance to their fare tonight for the first time and she absolutley loved it. A must-eat-at off the beaten path gem on 161, if you've never been.
