My experience at Hyde Park Steakhouse was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we sat down, the service was attentive, polished, and exactly what you hope for in a true fine dining experience.
The wine selection was outstanding and paired perfectly with our family-style dinner. We ordered four steaks, each cooked flawlessly to temperature and beautifully presented. Every bite delivered that classic steakhouse quality you expect from Hyde Park.
The sides were just as memorable. The lobster mac and cheese was rich and indulgent, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, the creamed corn had incredible flavor, and the potatoes au gratin were comforting and decadent. Sharing everything family-style made the meal feel special and elevated.
The seafood platter was another highlight. The shrimp were flavorful and fresh, and the oysters were clean, briny, and absolutely delicious. To start, the double-cut bacon appetizer was phenomenal and set the tone for the entire evening.
Overall, everything we ordered was outstanding. If you are looking for an elevated steakhouse experience in Columbus with exceptional food, great wine, and top-tier service, Hyde Park Steakhouse is an easy recommendation. Highly recommended for a memorable night out, celebrations, or anyone who appreciates a truly great steak dinner.

We finally got around to trying this place. The ambiance is great. Dark and romantic. Our server was fantastic. Our appetizers were so delicious. Our steaks, what the place is known for, what we were so excited to try, just meh. Cooked perfectly, just no flavor. So disappointing. Dessert was yummy. If we return, we'll sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers. Those were definitely worth the trip.

This has to be hands down the nicest Hyde Park we have had reservations for dinner. Two bars, plenty of private party rooms, a fireplace and high end decor throughout. Our waitress was attentive and kind. We will be back!

I was looking for somewhere quiet, and Reddit suggested Hyde Park on Old Henderson. I don't typically eat at steakhouses because steak is so easy to do well at home, but it was the most perfect dining experience, and that's what I was really looking for. I happened to be dining early, and they've got a 2-course menu before 6, which is nice if you're not wanting family sized sides. Everything was perfect - the pacing, service, food, atmosphere etc. I can't think of anything that I'd want to be done differently. Definitely order the carrot cake for dessert. It'll feed a party of 4, but you're going to want leftovers.

We were here celebrating my husband's birthday and were disappointed with our experience. Both my husband's and my son's steaks were not cooked to the proper temperature and had to be sent back. By the time they were corrected, I had already finished my meal. My husband also ordered a smoked Old Fashioned, which was not served as typically expected (no large cube or maraschino cherries). Instead of asking what dessert he wanted for his birthday, a dessert was brought out without giving him a choice. We've dined here before for friends' celebrations and have always been offered a dessert of choice, so this was disappointing.
