Lamb awaze was amazing! Food took a little longer than you would want but it was well worth the wait. Generous food portions. Customer service was excellent.

I went to there for dinner on Friday 07/25/2025 and I order enjera firfr one for dine in and one for to go,the food test is not bad, however I found 10” human hair inside my firfr that I take out as to go which is disgusting and doesn’t supposed to be there!

Amazing food! We had the vegetarian sampler and some sambusas. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The injera was perfect.

We enjoyed a glass of the homemade honey wine which was delicious. Next we split sambusas which were flavorful and crispy. I had the beef awaze tibs which was delicious. Our friends split the mahberawi and enjoyed it very much. I believe it was the sweet owner who was doing everything when we were there- waiting tables and cooking apparently. The food was worth the wait!

Amazing food! I loved all the distinctive and delicious flavors in the veggie combo and my friend got a fish dish that was mouthwateringly good. I don't normally like fish, but I was ready to steal his plate!! Service was perfect- welcoming, kind, and had everything we needed. The atmosphere is beautiful and laid back. It was clearly a local hangout, but we felt comfortable immediately and enjoyed our time immensely! I love Ethiopian food and this is absolutely my new favorite!!

This spot is 🔥. The food at Ibex is straight-up authentic Ethiopian — rich flavor, fresh, and made with love. You can taste the tradition in every bite. The customer service was top-tier too — super welcoming and respectful. If you’re looking for real Ethiopian food in the city, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back.
