For anyone curious, there is a new bakery in the space. Vget Bakery & Cafe is currently having a soft open and plans to be fully open early May. They serve egg toast, rice balls, and Hong Kong style milk tea. They will be serving coffee once they fully open. The food I've tried so far is great and I'm looking forward to the grand opening!

Great little bakery for Asian pastries and cakes.

Online it says they are open but the store is closed. It has been for over a month

I’m absolutely heart broken that it says that this place is permanently closed. Their food was amazing and I had a birthday cake for my birthday one year and was hoping I could again because of how amazing it was. I still have a crystal vase I got from there as well. And i can’t say enough on how good their milk buns were or how good all the other buns and sweets were.

A fun little Japanese bakery with a small selection but delicious, regardless!

This bakery is WONDERFUL. My sister brought me here for the first time yesterday and it almost immediately became my favorite new restaurant. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. All of the food looked amazing. We got the steamed pork buns. Blown away. So tasty

Nice friendly workers…clean place…delicious pastries especially the roll cakes. We try to stop every time we go through it to Columbus.

The jalapeno bread is a fantastic savory bread and the coconut bread is subtly sweet! Owner is really nice and I can't wait to return for more!

Ichiban Bakery is an Asian bakery located in the Kenny Centre Mall that sells assorted baked buns, cake rolls, sliced cakes (e.g., vanilla, mango, taro, matcha, mocha, chocolate, strawberry, and earl grey tea), assorted crisps (e.g., shredded pork and salty egg yolk with red bean crisp, salty egg yolk with red bean crisp, matcha mochi with red bean crisp, taro crisp, and mung bean crisp), and mini lotus nut and red bean mooncakes and pineapple pastries. We enjoyed the taro and mung bean crisps, mini lotus nut and red bean mooncakes, and pineapple pastries.

I’ve been going here for sometime now, while some of their stuff is really good, a lot of it is under filled. I would just expect a little more filling for the money, or I might as well go to their competitor across the street. I would definitely recommend the bao and custard buns, because those are filled and very flavorful. Pass on the cake though, it’s pretty flavorless, and when I got the strawberry cake, the strawberries were very old; like the cake shouldn’t have been being served anymore. I will say their prices are reasonable, but if their fillings are lacking you might prefer somewhere else.

The food here was absolutely amazing. Reminds me of my trip overseas.
