Calamari was bad (spoiled) and did not get to eat with the individual I came with.... taken back by that because I was charged a full price as if I ate inside the restaurant and WAS NOT inconvenienced. Would have reflected my disappointment in my tip but they already added it to my bill before I received it... ?

We ended up with a novice chef (at least he seemed to be a novice). The food was decent, but I've had better at this place. I was okay with the food. My problem was the gratuity that was added to our bill. We only had a Party of Three. I'm a firm believer in tipping, but I tip based on performance. When you are a server or a cook, the establishment pays you for your work. The customer tips you for your service, courtesy, politeness, promptness, etc... I have a problem with being forced to tip a predetermined amount regardless of performance.

My wife and I went on Valentine’s Day and boy was this not a happy evening. To me, they seemed to be under staffed, especially for that day. We sat at a regular table and not at the fancy table with the chef doing all the tricks. But hell, we should have. A group of 4 came in after us, went to the fancy table, and left before us…and we didn’t even have our appetizers yet. Our entrees took FOREVER to come, and then wasn’t even all that. The lady that was our server was nice tho. I’ll give them that. We will return for the bar and their apps. Those were good.
