That food was DELICIOUS!!! I got the oxtails, curry potatoes and red beans and rice and baybeeeeee I ate on that for three meals!!! That beautiful Jamaican lady piled up that to go box and sent me on my way with a plate full of food made with love!!

Food was great, and the owner was very sweet and accommodating. She even threw in extra food which was very much appreciated!

Awesome Jamaican food. EDIT A COUPLE YEARS LATER. Have now eaten here a dozen times or so and consistently outstanding, including sides. I love the jerk chicken but want to try more of the menu. Last time I had the brown stew and it was equally as good as the jerk.

I’m not sure how this place gets any high ratings. My first time it was amazing. After that NO. Does the Mac n cheese even have any cheese in it? Why are so the sides not seasoned? The jerk, oxtails, and any main dish is decent. The patties are skinny and flavorless. I come every so often so they can redeem themselves. We’re talking more than 10 years. I’ve finally given up.

Today was my first time ever visiting this place. I found good reviews here on Google and I live an hour away... Listen, you need to visit this spot! The prices and portions are fair. The food is bursting with flavor! I ordered jerk chicken, curry chicken, and oxtails, plantains, white rice, beans and rice, potatoes, and cabbage. DELICIOUS!! Friendly staff too. You don't know what you're missing!

I’m from outta town and I ended up googling them and I must say they did not disappoint babbbyyyyyy it’s the best even from my hometown.. you can tell it was made with love.. the goat meat was just falling off the bone.. and the prices is wonderful .. I got curry goat and 2 sides of red beans and rice and my husband got oxtail with cabbage and red beans and rice . He hasn’t said a word while he was eating (which says a lot) you gotta try this spot it’s fire

To me personally I feel like island vibes is my favorite place to come to when I’m craving some jerk chicken. It’s always so fresh and tender and so much flavor. They have other great items as well like the pepper steak and the brown stew chicken as well
