This has become one of my favorite restaurants food is always delicious and service is always top tier. Our waiter was wonderful he engaged with us, also kept checking in on us to make sure everything was up to standard. I had a reservation for 7:45 p.m, but I made a call and they were able to get me in at 7:15 p.m which was great due to them being really busy due to prom season. I wish they would bring back the little crossiant that came with the salad they were really good but thanks again for a wonderful dinner for me and my family.

J. Alexander's is always my go to for a really good piece of prime rib and the ahi tuna salad is AMAZING. My belly is always satisfied after eating there ?? I just wish they had a happy hour!

My wife and I were at J. Alexanders on Sunday evening. Let me first state that those that we met at the bar and our waitress at our table were extremely nice. I wish that I could remember her name. She was warm and bubbly, just what you would want in a waitress... Now this was the big issue that we had while at J. Alexanders... The food took forever (approximately 45 minutes was brought to our table by someone other than our waitress and it was cold and the fries were stale. The waitress graciously offer to have the meal to be made over, but who wants to order their food again at 7:45 pm. When I spend over $100 for 2 people I should not get cold food. In my book this definitely reflects on poor management. They were moderately busy, but I can go to the Social Kitchen on Lyria Drive when the are slammed at lunch and my food arrives prompt and piping hot. When the food has been sitting in the kitchen too long for whatever reason, it should never leave the kitchen. The manager then should visit the table apologize for the situation and have the prepared immediately. There is no excuse for this to happen. My prime rib was flavorable, and very tender, it is sad that I could not have enjoyed it hot.

This continues to be one of our go to spots in Columbus for 10 years now! Always wonderful service and delicious food. The steaks are amazing… especially paired with the horseradish sauce and smashed potatoes. Most recently we had AMAZING service with Hunter, who was extremely attentive and service oriented! David, the front of the house manager, was also extremely kind and welcoming! Would HIGHLY recommend restaurant and location specifically.

Eclipse 2024!! We decided to grab a reservation to keep out of traffic and we made a fantastic choice. We had never been to J Alexander’s before.Jeremy M was our server, and couldn’t have done more for our table. From wine service, to recommendations, letting us have a couple mins while we enjoyed our appetizers, and even helping my mom with her sweater. So very kind. Our dinners were out of this world, we got a little bit of everything. The French dip was so yummy, the ribs were fall off the bone, and the ahi tuna salad was so bright and full of flavor.We got the carrot cake and he brought out an absolute slab of it. It was warm and gooey, and utterly decadent.We had a great family day together and topped it off with a perfect dinner. Thanks Jeremy!!

Jeremy M. provided us wonderful service starting the Mexico City Spinach Con Queso and the Steak Rolls (with an excellent jalapeno ranch dressing) for our starters. I enjoyed the French Dip Sandwich with "The Essential" cocktail for dinner, both were quite good but the cocktail blew me away. We finished with the carrot cake for dessert and the frosting was so creamy! A stellar dinner with the family with incredible service!

This was a great burger. My coworkers and I went to J.Alexanders for lunch. I tried their double cheese burger, and it was great. The burger was cooked to perfection and the onions were sautéed to perfection. It was a great burger honestly, the buns were great as well. 8.5/10 the service was great, the ambiance was cool, my only complaint was that it was very dim in there lol.
