Jack & Benny's Barnstormer Diner

Let me tell you, the food here is absolutely outstanding. I had the Old North Burger topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, added bacon, cheese and a pickle on the side. WOW! This is hands down, one of the BEST Burgers Iv had in quite some time. If your looking to support these smaller businesses, then don’t miss a chance to dine in here. I’ll Definitely be coming back.

Expensive cheap food. Very small portions. $8 for French toast that was toast (wasn’t fully battered) - 3 pieces of regular bread cut in half. Best part of the meal was the orange juice.

This is the best place in columbus for breakfast. I was in town from TX and had the breakfast chorizo burrito and my dad had the chorizos scramble. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I’ve been to the other location at the Ohio State campus and it is just as good.I highly recommend it!

Not open all the time but a very good diner! You will not be disappointed. Breakfast and burgers are specialties.

A hole in the wall diner with airplane decorations. This has all the good qualities of a classic diner: small, cozy, feels like home, open kitchen, staff with character and good food. Definitely recommend.I got the Philly burger. Overall it was good, but not amazing. The veggies and onions just felt steamed and didn't have lots of flavor. I'll return to try their breakfast dishes.

If you want to try a great little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that you probably didn’t even know was right around the corner, try this place. Jack & Benny’s offers unique decor, good quality food, and very friendly staff who care about providing you with good quality service. Kid friendly. Great burgers and sandwiches.

Good food but you have to be patient. Since the reopening they have jacked the prices to high . IMO

Local Diner with great breakfast served all day. The unique collection of aviation photos and memorabilia is outstanding.

Great local diner. Tons of history. This is a spinoff of their location on OSU campus. Hidden gem.

Was so sad to see this is temporarily closed. I hope it reopens soon. The staff are so kind and friendly. Great food and a favorite for our Sunday breakfast. Best orange juice in town. Such a gem and we’ve missed stopping in.

Friendly, fast service. Affordable prices for home cooked style meals. Cant wait for it to reopen!

A true gem of the airport. Always try to meet my son there on Friday’s in the summer for lunch. Everything is home cooked delicious. It may take a little longer to get served but it’s a great atmosphere and the food is worth the wait.Hopefully they will reopen soon...

Do not recommend this place for anyone who likes decent food. Very Poor quality food and the waitress was very rude. Don’t expect to look at aircraft in the hangar. They said it’s not allowed. Badly run business.

2/14/2021 UPDATE- I wish the best for this diner. Neighborhoods and communities need to embrace hard working little places like this. I am pulling for the Barnstormer to remain open.May be hit all the neighborhoods nearby with $5 and $10 cash for meals over $25 and $50?- - -Love this place. Old school.

Really good food and good portion. Service is good but I have a hard time finding it open.
