Jack's Downtown Diner

I was staying at the Sheraton in Capitol Square and had to find somewhere else for breakfast. I like to support local places and like local diners. They have a lot of character and often a lot of local characters. Jack and Benny's did not disappoint on convenience, service, food or value. Went in after arriving in Columbus for business. This place was a little hard to find with the construction going on, but once I found it, I was happy. Food was tasty and fast! Can't say anything about the lunch food, but the breakfast veggie omelette and potatoes were tasty and reasonably priced. Great place to stop after walking a few blocks through the cold.

Eat at Jakes! Traveling through Columbus....found the restaurant on Yelp. Very large dining area, parking lot packed, we thought we'd have a wait, but were served right away. I got the Prime Rib Sandwich, and Cheese Curd appetizer. Amazing! I could only eat 1/4 of the sandwich it was so large. Great Service, Great Food, Really reasonable prices. What a great find!
