We live in the neighborhood across the street and always walk over to mi tradition next door, decided to give this place a try as I was craving noodles. We got carryout and it was relatively quick, no one was dining in and the decor/atmosphere which has not been updated seems to promote take out (which is fine). The general tso chicken, Singapore noodle, and crab Rangoon were pretty good. Nothing special but satisfied the craving. I did not personally like the type of noodle they used for lo mein and I thought the house special pan fried noodle was not worth the $17. I would come back for a quick carry out meal, however, not raving reviews not anything out of the ordinary. They did give us free donuts with our order which was nice.

It's a hidden gem. The dine-in service was quiet, but they were busy with carry-out. The food was delightful and the server was quite accommodating. I would be happy to eat there again.

God was OK not good or bad. But definitely overpriced and they also have horrible customer service. Calling? Hah forget about it! In person? You would have good luck to find someone that can BARELY help you out. Garbage level food.THEY DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE!!! THAR CHANGED MY REVIEW FROM 2 TO A DISSTING 1!! Chinese? Yes. Authentic? Absolutely not.

Wonderful little hole-in-the-wall place! Excellent staff (family :) ), REALLY good food, and warm, cozy dining. Also generous servings, even when you’re getting it to go. Can’t say enough good things about this place; I’ve been coming here for many years!

This family-operated restaurant has and will remain a treasure of western Gahanna. The egg drop soup is unmatched ~

We all got sick eating here tonight. Couldn’t finish our meals. Staff was so kind and friendly but there was something really wrong with the food.

Must have been an off night. Or people were traveling. No one else in the restaurant. The food was quick. It was missing a spice or seasoning. The waitress was so friendly and personal.

I try to go here weekly, always great food and great service. The meat is always plentiful and the veggies are always fresh.

Vegetarian options: The vegetable medley and the multiple various tofu options are all delicious, I've tried them myself for some variety and they did not disappoint.

Dietary restrictions: I tell Ting about my dietary restriction and she makes sure they accommodate without issues.

Parking: Plenty of parking on the side, right next to the building. There's some parking in front too but they can fill up sometimes.

Wheelchair accessibility: Everything to enter the building is flat, handicap parking is right next to the door, tables are accessible.

Wonderful find! We were at the Obetz Fortress for a BOA Marching Band Regional Championship and decided to find something where we could have a. Ice sit down dinner. The Jade Bowl delivered ON FOOD, friendly staff, and amazing quality and taste.

The hot and sour soup was incredibly fresh. The veggies still crunched just that little bit when you know it is prepared perfectly. The egg rolls were tasty and the Sesame Chicken dinner was wonderful! My wife and I had our fill and still had enough left for another meal for two to take home. The chicken was full white meat and very large, perfectly cooked chunks.

Thanks to the cooks and staff - we really enjoyed our meal with you!

Kid-friendliness: Not crowded table settings and family friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: Single level, easy to get around in dining room.

I’ve lived in Gahanna for 12+ years. I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant. I finally did and it was AMAZING! I’m a foodie. I can’t wait until Hunan Lion returns. Used to love Hunan House. Asian Gourmet is good. Chi Thai is good. But the Chinese food from this place is really, really great! General Tso’s was incredibly tasty (maybe spice up a bit when asking for hot). Kung Pao was absolutely delicious. Incredibly fresh ingredients. Will absolutely be coming back! Folks are nice and ambiance is cool and calm. Old school Chinese at its finest.

Parking: Ample and free parking.

Kid-friendliness: They like kiddos.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

The only way I can think of that so many people rate this "best ever" is that they must not get out much. "Aggressively mediocre" would be more accurate. I found the food bland, the service unimpressive, the venue depressing.

The fried rice was cold, which makes me think it was not made to order but was made earlier in the day. It didn't taste like anything.

The Home Style Tofu Veggies was supposed to be "very spicy" but I honestly could not taste any chile at all. Otherwise it was pretty tasteless and had a weirdly thick/sticky sauce full of sugar.

I was glad to find vegetarian options here, which in my experience can be hard-ish to get in Ohio. The host (owner?) claimed to another customer while I was there that in the summer they raise all the vegetables organically themselves in their home garden. I have no way to evaluate the truth of this but it would greatly raise my esteem for the restaurant if true. It is hard to believe for $12 a plate.

The host was very polite to other customers who came in for takeout, many of whom seemed to be regulars. She was nice enough to me, but nothing unusual.

I think you can skip this place and you'd never miss it.

Very good food, we started with the fried dumplings, fried wontons and Chinese donuts, all exceptional!!! The dumpling sauce was the best we have had. For dinner we had chicken with broccoli and Mongolian beef. Both were great, the brown sauce was very tasty and all dishes were presented well. I am not sure what other reviewers were complaining about, it is worth the wait. There is a good amount of take out orders that kept the kitchen busy but the food came out in a timely manner. All in all, I would highly recommended this restaurant.
