But I miss the quality of the ice cream itself. Twenty years ago they first opened a location up at the North Market and it was unlike any of the ice creams you can get today. Now THAT was good ice cream. Best ice cream of my life.
These days the ice creams are very dessert-y and airy. They've just gone corporate. Each time I go in with friends and family to this location (they always wish to visit because the ice cream is iconic to Columbus), we go, and I don't say much about it. But the truth is they're never going to know how good this ice cream used to be.

My go-to place for ice creams!!! I always get their Bramble berry crisp for sure. Can't miss. They actually update their ice cream flavors often according to the season and festival. It's worth the money.

I love the unique flavors Jeni’s has and wanted to try the Sage cheesecake before flavors changed. It was ok, but I have had other flavors I like better. But they are always fun to try! The other flavor I had was white chocolate peppermint.

I was at a work conference in Columbus, Ohio and my co-worker said that Jeni’s is pretty famous for their ice cream. I love a nice sweet treat so we went (it was actually for my birthday!) and it’s a solid ice cream place. It wasn’t anything special but it wasn’t bad by any means. I think solid is a great way to describe it. From memory, a tad pricey, but, seemed like the kind of ice cream parlor that would be more on the expensive side. Glad I tried it but honestly nothing to truly write home about!
