Johnson’s has been a great addition to the Grandview Avenue strip - a broad array of flavors and toppings, cute decor and packaging, and friendly and efficient staff who are always glad to let you try flavors before you order. It’s the rare story of a local business that has blossomed as it’s grown into multiple locations rather than becoming spread too thin.

I tried the Chocolate Almond at Johnson’s Real Ice Cream and absolutely loved it! The chocolate was rich and smooth, and the roasted almonds added the perfect crunch. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Friendly staff and a cozy, classic ice cream shop vibe. Definitely coming back to try more flavors

This was our first time at this business. They have a great amount of flavors to pick from. The staff was very nice and said they'll be happy to let us try any of the flavors. I took the recommendation from one of the staff that was working. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Both employees were very nice and friendly. This once had a lot of seating with great window views.

First time at this location, well staffed and friendly. The service was quick and the dining area was very clean. I got the death by chocolate which was a huge scoop of ice cream and even bigger brownie 😀

Roommates and I were excited for a milkshake on our Friday night. Johnsons is definitely a place we usually love with great ice cream flavors which is why I’m upgrading this review from a one to a 2 star. Now, we had absolutely no problem with the customer service, and we all selected our respective flavors that we wanted in our milkshakes. However, we each got the milk but we’re never served the shake. Our soupy drinks were unfortunately not what we were anticipating since we each paid $7 for each shake when we could have gotten something for half the price down the street at Chick-fil-A. Now, it wasn’t even like “oh, we forgot to order it thick.” No, these had no form of consistency even slightly resembling a shake. We are each ice cream fiends and none of us could even finish half of the drink because it just got worse with each sip. Don’t even know why they gave us a large straw for thick fluids. Will not be stopping by for a shake here again.
