The sushi was just okay. There was way too much rice, and the mix of veggies in the veggie roll were odd and tasteless. It seemed overpriced for what it was.

Jony's can be confusing to find because it's in the same building as the South Village Grille, but this is definitely a plus. Not only was the sushi amazing, but I was able to get the giant meatball as an appetizer and it was sp good. The atmosphere is cozy and the drink selection is good. If you have a friend who isn't a fan of sushi, bring them here and they can order from the South Village Grille menu. It's a win-win.

Don't say "assorted veggies" in your veggie roll and then come out with tomato and green pepper like that's a real thing ?

I expected something better for the place, very nice and pleasant but the food left a lot to be desired. from the size of the portions, to the flavor.

Low quality sushi, uninterested, unattenive bar tender. This place does not deserve its 4+ rating. Had better sushi at Kroger, and better service Comcast. If you're visiting, stay away. This is one of those hipster, clicky, entitled places. True suck of an experience.

Nice location, great food, friendly service. We were just leaving Columbus when we ate here, but if we’re ever back this way I would visit again.

Quality of the sushi has gone down hill over the last year…it’s ok in a pinch but there are better options

Ordered for delivery, great presentation, excellent food. Delivery time was accurate. This time had nigiri, sashimi, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, the Mr. Miyagi roll. Spicy tuna and salmon were actually spicy. Every time I eat from here it is awesome, 10/10.

Would give zero stars if I could. Ordered raw fish over the phone and was told 20 mins. Upon arrival was held there for an hour waiting for our order. They just kept saying they were “backed up” but how do you not prioritize an order that’s over due by an hour?? An absolute joke of an experience. Wasted our night and to top it off they didn’t even give us our whole order.

It’s good when you can get it. They are starting to not allow delivery from any site - Grubhub/DoorDash/Uber eats and then you also can’t order online at their website. Lastly, you also cannot order takeout by calling. Seems very elitist and weird to force people to come and sit at the restaurant in order to eat the food. Kinda sad about it cause it was my fave until now since I can’t get it and I’m not sitting down inside.

We sat in the other side, the bar side, and ate sushi. The sushi was great tasting and definitely recommend people hit this place. It has much better hours than most places in Columbus.

Jony’s Sushi is mid-low range sushi for a upper-mid price. They are really trying to do some interesting culinary things, which I can appreciate. But, some choices just don’t honor Japanese cuisine. It’s really cool that you can order from their menu while at South Village Grill, but my experience was just meh. Pretty white-washed cuisine—know that going in. If that’s your thing, sure.
