The food was good, but not $60 good (for 2 people). I would recommend the dulce de leche pancake balls as well as the hens in a basket - haven’t had that since my grandma was alive and cooking.
We were charged full price for the pancake ball entree even though we didn’t get the bacon that come with it - I asked for a side of pancake balls and she said they don’t do that but I didn’t think she’d still charge $17 for 6 pancake balls.
I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because I was really put off by the “Don’t cheat and seat yourself before ordering” signs on every table and flat surface. It felt very aggressive (the sheer amount) and also the fact that we were the only customers eating inside. Maybe only put those on out on the weekends? Unfriendly vibe.
Delicious vegan options! Highly enjoyed the veg chicken sandwich
Stopped by for lunch, and it was a great decision! The breakfast tacos are a must try. Fresh ingredients, great texture…just a flavor bomb of all your favorite breakfast foods. I WILL be returning.
While my childhood friend was in town, we decided to check out Katalina’s and overall, it was a good experience! The atmosphere was fun and the food was tasty, though a little on the pricey side.
I ordered the bacon with eggs served in a unique sourdough toast where they cut out the center of the bread and bake the egg right in. It looked beautiful and was definitely Instagram-worthy, but a little tricky to eat. The purple breakfast potatoes were flavorful, and I also tried the pancake balls—those were a hit!
All in all, I’d give Katalina’s a solid review. Great place to catch up with a friend and enjoy something a little different!
The Chorizo tacos are a winner!! The piri piri sauce is the perfection. Katalina’s never misses with their menu selections. A must-try brunch Cafe in Columbus.
Great pancake balls!
Good food and service. Found parking a little difficult.
Small portions, overpriced, simple food.
Pancake Ball must try item 😋
Pretty good breakfast tacos for Ohio

Great food, great service. We will return when in Columbus. It's loud when full and can be hard to hear across the table. Limited seating inside during busy times. A lot of tables lingering after eating, leaving new customers no options to sit. Not a fault of the restaurant more the consideration of fellow patrons.

I would warn any minority to stay away from this place. White people will order after you and get served first. Not only that but your food will also be given to them first without so much as an apology! Very very disappointing experience. The fact that there was no apology and a blatant preferential treatment says a lot. It actually boggles my mind that the waitress apologized to the white couple for giving them my food and completely dismissed my question for whether that was my food that was given to them. Even the manager, who refunded my food did not even apologize. I think that it is very indicative when minorities that walk through the door are not greeted at all and largely ignored whereas the white people who stroll in are greeted extremely warmly. Do not expect to be treated equally here!
