Just go. Have a pickle. Eat a sandwich. No reason to wait on going. You're just waiting on being full and happy.

I bought the #1 which is their regular corned beef reuben and I must say with the utmost confidence; this sandwich is really good! It's definitely better than the brown bag deli. No hate towards the other shop but im a reuben guy and this is better than theirs. The pasta salad is also amazing. Definitely will come again!

Delicious deli!
Love their food but didn't expect their side room being closed for dining in. Made it very chaotic but still very much worth the wait. Unfortunately we weren't able to eat in just because it was musical chairs and they were taken immediately but was still great food. Hopefully next time we come back the side room will be reopened.
Pastrami Reuben, recommended. đ đ
Overall, if you are visiting Cbus, this is still a must stop spot!

I tried the ham and turkey sandwiches, and both were very basicâsomething I couldâve easily made at home for a quarter of the price. The coleslaw and macaroni salad had almost no flavor. Overall, I wouldnât recommend this place.
I like Rubenâs a lot sandwich was good and you take take all the pickles you want haha
Not overly impressed. The dill pickles are soggy. The garlic pickles were ok. For the wait time it was just ok.

Sandwich was just a deli sandwich, nothing special. Price was to high for a deli sandwich and a bag of chips. No beef tongue sandwich, they said they were out at 11am. Rules are to high for food quality. Fresh bread is the only reason for the 3, or it would be a 2 or 1.
I've tried only 2 sandwiches from here and in my experience they're overrated and overpriced. Not worth the price of a half pound imo. Not worth revisiting as of yet

First time to the famous Katzingerâs Deli in Columbus. Ordered the Reuben and potato latke. Sandwich was amazing. I would happily recommend trying one yourself. The potato latke I tried was a really greasy for $6. I wonât need that again. The free pickles in old time barrels are a great touch.

Have been going there occasionally since 2014, always amazing.
Food is amazing but it should not take 45 minutes to get a chicken sandwich, and no this was not during peak hours with a line out the door, it wasnât even that busy.
