The food has no seasoning at all , the Mac taste like sour cream the yams has no sweet taste to it very bland no brown sugar no nothing . ? I was praying on this to be good , going off the reviews is what made me want to order now it’s still sitting in the containers wasted my money so disappointed

Ms. Kay catered my wedding in June 2023, and my husband and I had an amazing experience. We can’t thank Ms. Kay enough for being so accommodating..our wedding was planned last minute, and the decision to cater came even later! Kay agreed to cater for us despite the short time frame, and was so patient with all of the changes I kept making (up to the very night before) and really went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations. And the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed! She truly lessened my stress load, which I’m so grateful for. I definitely will be using her for any future events, and I highly recommend!
There's nothing bad to say. Steak was cooked perfectly medium. Nice and juicey. No sauce needed on with the garlic butter on it. Mac n cheese is creamy. Potatoes are crisp. The quality is higher than one would expect from the location. I'm glad I stopped by.

Kays - First and foremost the customer service sold me! She was the sweetest most generous person I have encountered in a very long time! I got the Turkey leg and when she said it would fall off the bone! Baby it did JUST that! I mean melt in your mouth. The yams were okay the flavors were there. The green beans were okay very basic. The greens were cooked very well, no vinegar taste and not over powered - perfect for you to season on your own. Macaroni & cheese was really good and anyone who knows, know I'm a macaroni and cheese snob. Decently priced and gave really great portions. Overall 4.5 out of 5 I will definitely be returning to try the fish and chicken meals.

Kay’s soul food should be ashamed of themselves for serving cheaply made Mac and cheese and yams. I recommend Str8 out the kitchen on Main Street in Whitehall if you want real soul food. ?

Myself my boyfriend and my mom stopped by Kay's for the first time this evening and I am so glad we did. I had the turkey leg Mac and candi Yams and tried her 3 differenr kinds of eggs rolls ?? My mom had the baked chicken Mac and green beans. My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits and Pancakes with fried potatoes. Everything was perfection and recieved hot and in a timely fashion. She showed great hospitality brought everything to the table. I will always recommend Ms. Kay
